I really hate to leave less than positive reviews.
I also really want a good in-firefox RSS reader.
But every single time I have installed Bamboo it has proven buggy, and when I have uninstalled it, it has corrupted my FF profile.
So I am now too scared to resinstall it, given the reviews below.
Sorry, but when you get solid reviews of stability, I will reconsider. I am always on the lookout for a good RSS reader, so will continue to check back.
But my experience over half a dozen versions of Bamboo, and the reviews below of continuing loss of feeds etc., precludes me from trying yet again.
I will of course revise this review in the future if need be. Your reader looks good, it just fails, and trashes my profile.
Please keep on working on it.

would you please add the volume (for sound) icon/button when I am listening to my podcast? And add the duration (time) too

Best of it's kind, so far!
Not only design and options are close to perfect, it also produces far less system load then any similar add-on.
@moonravensky779: That is, why I backing up on a regular basis is helpful. Just export. One can never be sure.

I just lost about 1000 feeds that disappeared when Firefox automatically updated to 44.02 and I'm very upset as I had added some yesterday and did not backup not knowing this would happen. I had a backup but lost new feeds as this never happened until FFupdate - it happened again 2 days in a row should not have to keep backing up - going to Pale Moon instead. Giving 4 stars for the great app itself - sad i can't use any more without going to PM to avoid crashes every day with 44.02 FF. FF is so unstable now with key extensions like this one.

Bamboo often loses its data on what feed items have been read if e.g. Firefox crashes when it happens to be updating. And since updating feeds tends to stress memory, this is not as uncommon as one might wish. That in itself is not too bad, although it's sure annoying to have to mark thousands of feed items read... especially if some of them have been updated since you last checked. However, once in a while, Bamboo will get itself wedged more thoroughly, and have to revert to a "security backup", whatever that is. Today, though, even that didn't work, and absolutely nothing shows up. A program that can lose existing data to nothing more than ill-timed crashes is fundamentally coded wrong. There should be no way to overwrite the list of feeds like that.

This is a gread add-on, in fact you can manage the feeds very well. But the only feature that is missing is the possibility to sync the add-on with its content (user feeds) into your mozilla account, as already happens with the user bookmarks, addons, themes, etc.
Any possibility to add the feature of sync feeds to this add-on?

It's a very good Rss reader, but - it can not resize high resolution images. It displays full height and cuts width of a pic to fit the Bamboos' reader width.
It makes you scrolling down a lot and if the preview content is displayed using on hover method - the text preview is not reachable because of the huge height of an image.
Please, fix it or give an option to disable images. Thank you.

First, thank youf or this awesome RSS manager. Ever since Google shut down READER service, I've been reluctant to use third party ones, this way I can better manage my RSS feeds.
On that note; I have a semi important feature I would like to request, For large subdirectories filled with many RSS feeds, can you make a right click>Sort Folder By Title (alphabetically) feature?
I'm constantly adding more, and this growing list and it's becoming difficult to manage without this feature.
Thank you for considering this. All the best.

Where disappear unread record?

Ever since Google reader shut down, I was an on and off feed reading person. I would lose my subscriptions every now and then, or switch distros and I never liked the way I had to switch apps to open feed, and then switch back to firefox to open a particular article and so on.
This beautiful, beautiful thing solves everything I wanted!

A very nice feed reader. Does almost everything I want. Flexible and adjustable. All I'd like added are longer update intervals (like every 8 or 12 hours or so) and a way to see how long ago it updated.

Спасибо. Действительно, лучший и (что главное) самый удобный из всех RSS. Раньше пользовался Feedly, но он перестал поддерживаться и стал глючить.
Thanks! Best RSS from all. After crash Feedly RSS, Bamboo feed reeder - thе best ever!
