This add-on would work better for me if the folders were in alphabetic order. I'll leave it on my computer for a while to see if I can get used to it; but looking through folder names that are in random order is just too much visual searching for me. Since I have only 25 or so folders in TB, a simple alphabetical list would work best for me.

A valuable time-saver which I use constantly. Please make this work with the latest version of TB and I will contribute!

Great product! And the 1.6.1 update seems to fix the bug people were talking about in previous reviews!

This is a valuable time-saver, but...
Version 1.6 works with TB 60.3 has a significant bug.
After I use it by right-clicking on a message and selecting to move the message to a local folder, the next time I try to move another message, the right-click context menu does not appear.
One way to force the folders to appear again is to right-click on one of the buttons near the top such as "Get Messages" in the Mail Toolbar. That brings its own context menu. Cancel out of that, then right click on a message again and the context menu appears as expected.
Other users have experienced this issue and have provided feedback to the developers in this "forum". I'd be willing to donate when this bug is fixed.

Giving this five stars (even with the TB60 bug), as it's saved me so much time over the past couple of years.
I only have two extensions that I use this all the time, this and Quicktext. Both are brilliant.

Please fix the bug with Thunderbird 60. See Frank's message dated October 3th. I wrote you an email in august about it. Thanks

1.6 works well on TB 60 but after each use on a message it causes the right mouse click to stop working after use. to get RMC to work again you need to go to the top menu, select message then move. Then RMC will work again.

Works well in my Thunderbird 52.9.1. The only inconvenience is that focus does not return to the email list after moving a message. You have to click or tab back into the list to get to the next message.

I would give this a zero rating if I could. Downloading it was a waste of time. It must be rather old. It's not compatible with my late-model version of Thunderbird.

Sadly after being quite excited I'll have to review my previous rating. The idea is great, but bugs (which according to Mozilla review guidelines I'm not supposed to post here) and lack of support (issue tracker or email) make this add-on quite painful to be used.

Nice work, thank you!
If anyone is coming to QFM from Nostalgy, you can redefine keys to match your old muscle memory with dorando-keyconfig: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/dorando-keyconfig/

Quick Folder Move is one of the 'must have' add-ons out there. It unfortunately is stopping me from right-clicking on emails. TB 60.0 QFM 1.6
--------------------------------------
EDIT: There is a shortcut (Shift-M) which is more than adequate for me, so despite the bug with mouse right-clicking I can still quick-move with Shift-M. Rating upped to 4 star.

Not a bad substitute to Nostaligy, which appears to be going away.
However, the incremental search (e.g. I type folderA and see folderA/SubA folderA/SubB) and/or having the folder path in the display would be really helpful.
For example, I have a number of folders named Admin (for work, for investments, etc). If I type in Admin, I don't know which entry is which.

Super!

Let me be frank. This is one of my all time favorite addon and it has saved me a lots of time. Negative review comes from the fact, that this is not compatible with newest version of Thunderbird. Current version of mine is 52.9.1

It work very good. Only one thing would like to have.
It will be the best if it can allow to choose which mailbox to display on the list is the best.
Because now it also show the local mailbox of archived. And I am archived by years. That mean if I press Shift-M, and key in the folder name, there will show up many folders in the same name under the archived (local mail box) of different years.
