Doesn't work on executables, which is the only reason I want it. It can't be that hard since both IE and Chrome do it...

Works well. However would it be possible to get back the "open with default (...) application" radio button for executable files, since there is no other way to open an executable file directly?

Good and useful.

What I'd like to see is a way to configure it by file extension. Ideally, modify the Tools>Options>Applications to have "Use Associated" as an option in the list of options.

Works well. But why is it still marked experimental?

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly in 3.6 - the older version of this add-on does not.

Thank you very much for this extension. The good thing about is, that it even displays the "Run" button, if you have some other extensions installed, that modify the download dialog. The old OpenDownload extension didn't. 5 Stars!

This one works fine for me... I was worried about upgrading to 3.5 because the original OpenDownload wouldn't work, but now that I've found this extension I have no worries whatsoever. Thanks a tonne, Tuxman
