I like this extension, and I request for a "Visit Mozilla Page" command for each plugin. It could be as simple as performing this Google Search: http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I'm+Feeling+Lucky&q=site:addons.mozilla.org+Extension+Manager+Extended

firefox 3 already includes the id and date installed. the only thing this adds is a folder location.

One feature that would be nice: order extensions by date installed. That way, if I start having problems with the browser, I could quickly check to see which extensions I've added recently.

can anyone guide me to use this feature - 'Open Containing Folder' .........
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.6.4).Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I tried to get to the addon options and I get a window saying "This options dialog box is only used in Firefox 1.5 and will be removed after enough time has been given for users to switch to Firefox 2." What? I believe enough people have switch to FF2, who uses 1.5 anymore?
Other than that, it does what it says.

One thing it lacks to be a useful manager is ability to organize plugins by your own order preferably by dragging

For those of you like myself with a fascination
for firefox/addd-ons who love to peek underneath the hood in firefox's profile folder, this add-on/
extension provides key information that for some reason is not provided otherwise.
For some obnoxoious reason, most of the add-on folders in the firefox profile are listed/IDed
by obscure rows of alphanumberic symbols that
seem designed to prevent them from being identified.
If you want to check any one add-ons folder in
your profile you'll come across this labeling configutation that effectively discourages you
from doing so because you simply don't know which
folder contains the add-on you want to review.
This thoughtful extension lists the obscure configuration the particular add-on is labeled
by in the profle folder directly in the add-ons
page in providing helpful information that is
otherwise not available.
