Love this add-on, glad to see the developer is updating it for Thunderbird 78.

DANKE

This addon does it's job really well. Sadly it it now working under 78.x.
Are there any plans to migrate this addon to the 78.x framework?

I would have switched to this addon, but two missing features are forcing me to keep Quicktext:
- the signature cannot be inserted between my text and the text I'm quoting on a reply;
- there are two dashes added on top of the signature that cannot be disabled/edited via settings.

Just one question: When will it work with TB 68 ?

This module is very useful for me, I can change my signature at will.
The only fault I would make and I see that other people have reported the same problem is that you cannot place the signature above the message during a reply or a transfer.
The thunderbird options allow it but when you activate the "signature switch" plugin, the signature is systematically placed at the bottom of the message.
Too bad.

First of all thank you for your efforts! Really nice, but I agree with David Koníček. If you could fix this, it would be a perfect addon to me.

Really good, but please make these changes (correct bugs):
1) Apply setting from about:config, value " mail.identity.default.suppress_signature_separator" when it is "true". Nowadays your add-on inserts two dashes; it should follow this setting as TB does without your add-on.
2) Apply settings from account settings, section Composition & Addressing, value for "When quoting ... place my signature ... below my reply (above the quote). I.e. when email is reply or forward message, place signature above (or below) the quote according this parameter.
Many thanks beforehand.

I would like to be able to set my signature directly, and not through an external file. As it is, I cannot use this.

Those complaining from the signature position should change TB>Tools>Account Settings>Composition & Addressing>place my signature to below my reply (above the quote)

Macht grössenteils was es soll.

Shocking that I can't add the signature at the cursor position. It gets added at the bottom of the email trail which is of no use.

I like this add-on very well. There are however 2 improvements that I like to see. 1) It would be nice if images could be added to the signature. 2) iIt would be a great improvement when the signature appears there where the cursur is and NOT at the bottom of an e-mail train.

Been using SS for years, and have 120+ signature files (different quotes) Would like a tiled/stacked list rather than the one long one that goes on forever. Have asked many times for that feature, never heard a response.
Otherwise a great add on I use daily.

Is it work with Thunderbird portable? Somebody knows?
Where to install add-on - in same folder with Thunderbird?

Only problem is that you can't place signature above quoted material in email. This should have been addressed. Otherwise, really great addon.

Does exactly what I was looking for: auto-switch my signature based on To: email addresses.
I wanted a different signature for internal vs. external emails. Thank you for the great add-on!

[2] You need a default signature in your TB account settings>signature text. Otherwise you get some odd issues like multiple signatures in a reply, or deleted email text when you make changes to the recipient addresses.

There continues to be no answer for the #1 issue with this extension: Placing the signature above the quote.
