Show InOut is great. I can't use an email client without anymore. It should become part of the main Thunderbird. Version 0.7.3 is not working well on my Thunderbird 3.0.2. Mails sent by me as shown as 'in' someimes. I stepped back to 0.6.2.

Problem resolved with the other extension. Again, thanks for a critical improvement to Thunderbird!

The SenderName 0.4 extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/5296) that was recently updated to work with Thunderbird 3.0 seems to break the ShowInOut 0.7.3 extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/reviews/display/3492) extension -- there is no crash, but the new columns of ShowInOut are no longer available. Not sure which extension is responsible. Both extensions are excellent and I think many people would want to use them concurrently.

I like it, because it makes the message-list more clearly presented, even on small netbooks-displays ... Thanks for it!

Great extension, another that makes you wonder why it isn't built into TB in the first place. The author's page describes how to change the formatting for In and Out mails and also how to change the icons to make them easier to distinguish. I format 'Out' details in italic and slightly smaller font and point to a non-existent icon for outgoing mails so it doesn't display an icon, to make In and Out easier to recognise.

Super little add-on. I must admit, my filters sometimes go a bit barking mad and copy "sent" messages to regular folders. This extn is a godsend :)

Updated for the latest (almost released) Thunderbird version, this is one of those necessary add-ons. You will wonder why this is not built-in in TB.
I have to drop a star for this last version though, because the new icons do a poor job of differentiating between in and out, and add to the "envelope inflation" that developers have been trying to reduce. Luckily, following the instructions on the ShowInOut website, you can easily change them, switching back to the old images.

Hello. This works with 3.1a1pre so please bump the maxversion.

I like this add-on very much because I store all my sent and received e-mails in the same folder to get an overview on complete message threads (including my replies).
Unfortunately, the iconic graphic on the "incoming/outgoing" column increases the height of the whole header bar a few pixels on Windows (XP or Vista w/ classic theme). I have to replace the graphic everytime this add-on is updated.

Uno dei migliori componenti. Molto utile perché in un colpo d'occhio si capisce subito il flusso di posta specialmente usando Gmail.

Wonderful! One step closer to making Thunderbird as functional as Classic Eudora.

Great software.
It should have the option to group emails by this field.

Thanks a lot for this powerfull add-on. With the correspondent search it is what i was searching for years
I had a problem with the search funktion, but after uninstalling another (unused) search add-on it works fine.
Also great with gmail

Great extension indeed! I'm using it on TB Linux, rev. 0.5.5 and it's works well. But since this new rev (0.5.9), no way: the 2 columns are blank. Is there a workaround?

As a fan of gmail's conversation threading, I was hoping it might have a setting to effectively combine two different folders. But that perhaps is a bit too advanced
Thanks for a nice plugin!

Hi - I love this extension since i want to file incoming and outgoing email together.
Its biggest flaw is that it doesn't work on Thunderbird 3 (Shredder).

Ever since I switched to Tb two years ago, I've been thinking this should be the standard working procedure in Tb... now I'm so glad I've found this extension to make Tb work the way it should.

Good idea, but... it would be REALLY NICE if it could be configured for the "Out" Category to be triggered by a multiple email addresses (handy if you're working with outlook at work and frequently forward stuff home or simply have multiple Email addresses)
