Works very well in FF 29. I get a variety of sizes, and always the biggest MP4 if there is a choice. Excellent addon.

This is the only reliable FLV downloader I have found. It detects and lets you download videos from almost every site I have tested it on.

This is an awesome add-on, however it doesn't send the download request to other registered add-ons, such as “downThemAll”. Instead, this add-on handles download itself (Save to one folder or prompt every time where to save).

Hope to get the feature "Download with downThemAll" or similar in the next version.
Really appreciate the work done by the Author, thanks.

É um programa simples, fácil de usar e que cumpre o que promete, ou seja, baixa os streams de uma grande maioria de sites, eu achei mais eficiente que o DownloadHelper.

NetVideoHunter has been seriously compromised by so-called 'advertisements" which say "The media content is not shown properly. It is recommended to update your system player now...Update Version :M. Player 9.2" and "you need to update your version of FLV player" (I have no FLV Player). DO NOT CLICK ON THIS ADVERTISEMENT. It will mess up Firefox like you can't believe and will install malware on your computer.

This version 1.15 DOESN'T download videos at Full HD resolution (1920x1080) even if they have this Full HD resolution!!! The MAXIMUM downloaded resolution for video files is HD (1280x720)!!!
The older version were able to download videos with Full HD resolutions!!!

WHY??!
WHEN WILL YOU FIX THAT??!

Been using this for such a long time but I can't take it any more.
The only reason is because is slows Firefox down and makes YouTube video's stutter and even Facebook scrolling stutters as NVH gathers or updates it's gathering info.

I found that turning off this extension sped up Firefox back to normal and got rid of all the stutters.

So I'm not having to use Video Downloader Pure which works just as well and it's stutter-free.

Hope it gets sorted.

This add-on works great as is. I've found if you upgrade to 1.11 songs in grooveshark begin to not work anymore. I tried vevo and they seem to work on youtube with the current version. It works great. The only downside is i can't disable it on a site even though there is an option to disable on this site, so it constantly adds more downloads; and it won't play a video. It's a little buggy but it's well worth getting as no other add-on i know of can download grooveshark music. I'd rate it 4.9 if i could. Thanks for this!

Are you kidding me? This is the best video downloading tool you could ask for. If you got this just to download youtube videos then you are an idiot. I can even download deleted dailymotion videos by playing with url and code page thanks to this. 10/5
