The last Update has not the "choose target folder after sending"... why? It was the most important feature for me.
I can send you a screenshot of your options form.
The Thunderbird guys removed a lot of features for add-on writers. Most of this add-on had to be rewritten and some things couldn't be done. "choose target folder after sending" is one of them.

Thanks for the updates, but there is a problem in TB 78.4.0.
While the addon is active, we cannot see the To and Cc list when forwarding or replying to a message if there are a certain number of recipients in the original message.
Someone reported this problem to me but i can't reproduce it. Probably its an incompatibility with another add-on. Please contact me by email!

A very very useful addon. Using it for years and cannot do without it. Should be basic functionality in a mail client iMHO. It must be a lot of work for the developer because things change constantly. It is not working in TB 78.3.2.
Missing it and keeping fingers crossed it will get an update.
Correction. I disabled the add-on. Restarted Thunderbird. Enabled the add-on. All working fine again. Very glad. Worth 8 stars ;-)
Can't find any problem with TB78.3.2

Hi, the program runs well with 3.1 version but from time to time it has a strange behaviour: writing an email normally appears a box "Copy message to" where you can choose what to do, but sometimes that box does not appear, so you have to go to "Preferences" change the selection and then it appears again. Nevertheless it is a great app

Thank you for working on that feature.

When this used to work it was useful. Current updated version not only doesn't provide options as shown in the screenshots that accompany this add-on but it also breaks the "forward mail" functionality. Removed this and the forwarding function worked again.
Deeply disappointing situation with yet another Thunderbird add-on.
Please try to start TB with the -purgecaches switch. If this doesn't help please contact me by e-mail.

This simple feature has made my mailbox manageable by moving incoming messages as I reply to them (together with my reply). But I just installed Thunderbird on a new computer and it updated to 78 and the feature no longer works. Any advice? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a new version coming?

I really like this add-on to organize my outgoing mail. Some days ago I installed TB with "maildir" instead of "mbox" mail storage and installed Copy Sent to Current as well. But it seems that it doesn't work with maildir - although "ask for folder when sending" is enabled, no popup is shown to select the folder and the outgoing mail goes directly to the sent folder.
Can you please check the maildir support? I now need maildir as I have many problems with mbox - especially the *.msf files (duplicate mails are shown) - with the folders located on my NAS now. And I don't want to miss Copy Sent to Current.
Thanks! I solved it by changing "other folder" to "select / chose folder when sending" (I have the German UI, so I don't know the right English text) under (account settings | copies and folders - and now it works as expected!
Rating changed to 5 stars.
Probably the add-on didn't found the sent-folder (i know, there should be an error message...)
Be sure, all folders from the server are shown in TB:
Go to 'Tools' > 'Account Settings' > 'Server Settings' for the mail account. Click on 'Advanced' button, Uncheck: 'Show only subscribed folders'. Close popups. Double click on the account two times to get all folders from the server.
If this doesn't help, please contact me by email.

Excellent add-on, which replaced a previously existing one. Congratulations for your work.
Unfortunately, I think I found a regression: apparently the "Fixed bug which prevents the account settings from closing" which was fixed in 2.0.1 is still active in 2.0.4 (I'm using TB 68.2.2). I am trying to activate the functionality for identities (activating for the main account works fine).
Thank you and keep up the good work.

Hi Günter,
Sorry, I tried to find your e-mail address to respond but couldn't get to it.
I reported the problem of not being able to select a forlder for the message to be moved.
In short:
I use Ctrl+Enter to send an email. A combo box appears (Copy message to:) The first couple of folder names are the frequently used folders and I want to move the ougoing message to one of them.
Using the arrow keys select one of them. Pressing Enter I would expect the dialog to be closed and the message moved to the selected folder.
Instead the selection dialog is shrinked, only Inbox is displayed in the dialog.
Plus (+) key works however but in a funny way. I have to press Enter after I press + and when the dialog has shrunk pressing + again triggers the copy.
Regards,
Imre

Hurray! Version 2.0.3 works again with my TB 68.1.2.
Five stars because this adds functionality that really should be incorporated into the main program. Essential to keep some order in my emails.

Used to be great but is no longer working for me on Thunderbird 68.1.1
Developer referenced version 2.0.2 as a solution, but the update is nowhere to be found.
Also, why is this an add-on, Mozilla? This logical and essential functionality should be permanently incorporated into the TB code.
Thanks all.
Sorry, Guenter, but I'm still looking for version 2.0.2. The link to your home page is bad. (The requested URL /index.html was not found on this server.)
Clicking on 'latest version' yields v1.2.4. I'm not a newbie. Something wrong here.
If you are not able to look on my homepage you shouldn't punish me with only one point.

Super valuable tool - but you need to update the overloaded options in "Copies & Folders" as the preferences system has changed in Thunderbird 68.

Doesn't seem to work with thunderbird ver 68. Clicking coysent2current on the tools menu does not open the option window and the options are missing in the accounts send and receive dialogs

Still excellent after the update (and more useful that the "Copy Answer to Folder" option of Thunderbird).

Tremendously helpful. I use Copy Sent to Current many times each day. It helps me organize a massive volume of email and saves time moving things around.

I have been a happy user of copysend2current for many years. But now after a Windows 10 reinstall and adding copysend2current anew I can't get the dialog to pop up when I send a message. Any hints what may be missing?
I'm using Thunderbird 60.0 32 bit under Windows 10.
