This will help me stop living in email!

Hope to see shortcuts (ctrl-alt-L and toolbar) added for Thunderbird.

Works perfectly well. No problems. Exactly what I have been looking for. And more features are promised for a future version. Great.

Great power toy... works flawlessly on Firefox 3.6.6

Thanks - Donation gratefully sent.

Wish List - to be able to clip to the same page in One Note. I need to clip odd short sections of text from a number of sites... I end up with 50+ pages in One Note which I have to bring together manually.

I too had the same problem. I use Merge Pages Powertoy (link below) . It is an open source power toy developed by Microsoft Onenote Testing Team member, JohnGuin. To merge multiple pages, you can just select all the pages and click merge. it'll do the rest for you. Hope this will be helpful for you and boost up your productivity.

I installed this on 2010-06-14 and have been trialling it fairly extensively. It seems to do exactly what it was designed to do, and very well too. Thankyou for a nice piece of work.
It appears to be trouble-free except for one instance when it seemed to "hang" in its little busy window whilst clipping to OneNote. I cancelled that task and re-clipped the same web page content, and it went fine that time.

a great add-on which i was searching for past few days. about note toking task, nothing is better with this add-on and with versatility of one-note application. but i have few suggestions:
1. can make pictures from websites clipped to onenote?
2. very imp: can all clippings go to one onenote file instead of adding separate notenames. or better, if there is an option for which folder to add it.
3. still better, instead of pop-up, if it shows as a side window , just can drag and drop the required contents.

anyway still i rate highly of such add-on. thanks a lot Madharasan.

The addon works great. One improvement would make it excellent; and that is to get it to not interrupt me by opening the clipped note when I'm browsing.

It will clip the whole page OK but, as others have said, I can't get it to just clip selected text.
FF3.6.3 and OneNote 2010.

Keep up the good work!

Hmmm, I wonder if there is an Add-On that would let me clip this page to OneNote the way I could if I were in IE? 2 minutes later I'm doing it. Exactly what I wanted. Nice!

Madharasan, great job on this add-on.
It's simple and effective and does what it's meant to do without fancy bells and whistles.
I was very happy to donate to this given all the effort it has saved me.

Same as Bmclachlan, Installed fine, path entered in options, all good.

But when selecting text from a text box, the addon will error with "Nothing to clip"
If selection is of a web page it will clip without error.

Needs to be sorted and updated for new Onenote

Install went smoothly, but when I try to clip some text or an entire page, I receive an error dialog "Clip to OneNote: Nothing to clip". Using FF 3.6.3 in Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

What could be wrong?

I think this would be great addon but does not work with the new click-to-run office 2010. Any suggestions?

I used the addon with Firefox 3.5 and the beta version of OneNote 2010 and it worked like a charm.

Then I updated to Firefox 3.6 and it stopped working. I just changed the maximum version number in the install.rdf file and now it runs again.

It's really a great addon.Thank you for creating it!

Hi I dont think that would be necessary. Because I have already Updated it. But as i have mentioned in the description, this add-on is in the Sandbox, which means it will show up in listings and searches, but Updates are not being provided to this add-on through the update check service via Firefox. Only your comments and suggestions will make it easier to make it as a public addon. Thanks for you interest in this add-on and Thanks for your comments.
