It's an incredibly simple extension. Not much too it.
But at the same time, I practically can't life without it.
I love it.

the users who are using glasser extension , finds the number cut off on one side.When the FF3 is maximized then it is hard to read the number as it is black and have dark background.
To over come this problem you can use the following code in the Stylish addons(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108)
toolbar #tabcounter-toolbar-item {
color: white !important;
font-family: Arial !important; font-size: 9pt !important; font-weight: bold !important;
}
You can just put your posted code in your userChrome.css file in your profile's Chrome directory and it does the same thing.

This program is simple and does exactly what it says. The only issue I have with it is that in Windows Vista (with the Glasser extension installed on Fx3), the actual number that indicates the number of tabs you have open is cut off slightly on the left side. It's much more noticeable when you have less than 10 tabs open.
I know the problem is Glasser and not Tab Counter because Tab Counter runs fine on my XP/Fx3 install and when I disable Glasser on this Vista install, Tab Counter looks fine again.
Here's a screenshot of the problem:

this extension is as simple as great!
it would be nice if there was an option for a white colour number

Great for tabholics like me, who open over 50 tabs and never realize how many tabs are actually open. (Specially if you use something like Tree Style Tab to keep things less cluttered).
Just noticed you're the same author of Session Manager... Thanks a lot for your work on all these awesome addons! :)

One of the simplest but most frequently used addons in my collection. Highly recommended for tab junkies.

Correction -- all works now. Curious that it showed up only after my third Firefox restart. Note it appears, by default, and per documentation for those who look, not in the status bar but on the far right of the menu bar. Looks good.

Good. This is one addon that wants everyone to like the default firefox theme ;)
I like the whole idea of it, and it works for me. Thanks.
