очень удобно, не надо по сто раз в день лезть на почту и проверять её.

By far that's the best add-on for manage Gmail directly from FF addon bar.
I'm not sure if you see it, but now when you come out from Gmail, your Google account still remain "active" and you only need to enter just passwords to re-login.
If you wish to check another Gmail you must go to "Manage accounts on this device " and delete the current account that you've been logged in.
The problem comes because the login process through "Gmail Manager" made with the "check box" on (when you try to login normal, not through Gmail Manager there's a check box that say: "Stay signed in" - if this box is unchecked when you leave Gmail account you're Google Account is completely logged out without the need to go... whatever I guess you see how it's the new way to log out from Gmail).
Anyway,
Cheers!

Didn't work for me. Ubuntu 13.10 Unity and Firefox 24.0. 3 Google Apps and 1 Generic Gmail account. It would never login to the GG account, password copied/pasted, worked fine directly to Gmail but no go for the plugin, it just keps re-asking for password. The remaining 3 GA accunts would show correctly in the taskbar until one of them received a mail, then they would all 3 change to the one receiving the mail. Sorry no time for further debugging, wasted an hour on this already. Maybe I'll check back in a year or two.

Ne fonctionne pas chez moi, j'ai beau mettre mon compte Gmail, l'extension me répète que mon email n'existe pas...
Tant pis.

And just now, miraculously, snippets are back on all my systems, without my changing anything. I wonder what Google is up to.

Here is simple solution. If you dont want to do this, you can install fixed version "Gmail Manager NG"
1. Browse to C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\A RANDOM CODE IS HERE.default\extensions\
2. Locate the file {582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}.xpi, rename it to {582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}.zip and extract the files to a temporary location.
3. Open the components folder, look for the file gmServiceGmail.js and use a text editor to modify this 1 line:
loginURL = “https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth”;
should be changed to:
loginURL = “https://accounts.google.com/accounts/ServiceLoginAuth?service=mail”;
4. Save the file, overwrite the existing gmServiceGmail.js
5. Open the file install.rdf with a text editor and change the line:
<em:maxVersion>4.0.*</em:maxVersion>
to
<em:maxVersion>6.0.*</em:maxVersion>
6. Save the file, overwrite the existing install.rdf.
7. Rezip all files you extracted in step 2 and name it {582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}.xpi
8. Replace the old {582195F5-92E7-40a0-A127-DB71295901D7}.xpi for the 1 you just adjusted and restart FireFox
