I am impressed: You integrated my request concerning possibly deleting the grey text in the to-, cc- and bcc-lines as an option.
And you repaired the bug, I just recently told you.
I am happy!

I love this add-on!
There seems to be a small bug.
In the compose-window I have the contacts-sidebar an the left side of the windox.
When adding addresses, this happens: Double-click on the first address, it appears correctly in the line "to".
When double-Clicking on the second address in the sidebar – the second address appears in the line "to", BUT: the first address is deleted!!
After that mistake, I can add other addresses, and it works correctly.
So: So the first try, to add a second address does not work correctly, after the everything works ok.
Whenever I open another Compose-Window, the same same buggy phenomenon happens....
Thank you for looking in that.

Quicktext

That is funny. I tested your idea.
What I found: After changes within Quicktext I have to exit TB. Then open the templates.xml with notepad++, then simply change the encoding to "UCF-2 Little Endian", save – and finished. Everything works fine.
(I did not have to do anything with FFFE)

Thank you for your text. I don't quite understand. Do you mean, after having "repaired" the file, everything works fine with Quicktext?
The problem with Quicktext in TB 38.01 "starts", whenever one "saves" something within Quicktext and one starts TB again. Do you mean, after "saving" something I should "repair" the xml-File with "FF FE", and then everything is fine? That would be a shorter Workaround...
Concerning "FF FE": Do I have to place that totally on Top (at the beginning) of the file?

Version 8.6.1. is no Problem, wenn opening a new Email via "Opening Template-File" (the last order at the bottom of the list of templates within the Button "Write" in the main-window).
The error-Message is, when saving to drafts: (try to translate) "Saving as draft is mistaken" – Your message could not be saved as draft. There was an error with attaching … Please check whether you have enough rights to 'zugreifen auf ' the file.
The same text comes when trying to send the file: "Sending of the message mistaken" – .............

This is a great Add-on. Thank you!
Could you add the option to make disappear the words "enter one or multiple emails separated by commas"?
I know it und for me these words are too much (aesthetic)...
Thank you

Within TB 38.01 you must not change anything in Quicktext 9.11.5 and save it – »save« is the problem. After new start of TB 38.01 Quicktext does not work correctly.

Correction respectively workaround:
– Install Thunderbird 31.7 (at Start cancel Actualization of addons)
– Install Quicktext 9.11.5 again (THIS ONE: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/quicktext/?src=external-Add-ons_Manager_Context_Menu-extension – not the one on the HP of Emil Hesslow, seems to be buggy)
– Then make Changes you want in Quicktext and save.
– Then install Thunderbird 38.01 again – and everything is okay. Quicktext works as it should!
(For me this workaround is okay, as I do not often make changes in Quicktext.)

Thanks to the developer!
Stationary is so important. Works perfectly!
As far as I see Stationary was even partly optimized.

You are my/our HERO! Wow, works with TB 38.01...
Nevertheless I think/hope the developer will also go on taking care of this great Add-on.

ExternalTemplateLoader is hardly to compare with Stationary! Stationary has a lot of more Options....

Hello, thank you for this Add-on!
My question is (concerning Thunderbird): I ONLY want to protect my Mail-passwords, that nobody can look at them in "Options / Security / Passwords".
AND I want to send/receive Mails WITHOUT prompt (AND I do not want a prompt at program-start)...
Is that possible? how? thank you very much
