It works with Beta 5 is does exactly what I want. I recommend this to everyone here at Purdue.

The title of this post say's it all. Once the various click and keystrokes become second nature you'll find yourself using this extension constantly.
The only little thing I would like to see is an option whereby one can lock a tab so that it remains open throughout a web browsing session, otherwise, this is one of the best extensions I have seen for Firefox.

I've been using this plug-in since SeaMonkey v1.1.1 and it makes browsing very easy and fast. I've set it up so that if I click on the tab bar, a new blank tab appears. I also have it set up so that if I click on an existing tab, that tab will close and the browser gives focus to the last used tab. This is very convenient if you use the "Open Link In New Tab" pull down menu frequently. However, SM v1.1.5 breaks compatibility with Tab Clicking Options and no longer brings you back to where you were. The focus after clicking off a tab defaults to the tab that happens to be directly next to the clicked off tab (on the left side of that tab) and not the last used tab. So now I must look for the last tab I used and click on that tab to get back to where you were. If more than 6 tabs are open it becomes difficult as the tabs are so small that tha tab names are not shown completely

Downgrading back to SeaMonkey v1.1.4 resolves this issue.

I don't feel right using FireFox on a computer without this.

This is just what I needed! I don't like Tab Mix Plus because it is incompatible with a lot of extensions, and has too many options to configure. This is small and simple! Thank you!

This extension is great! I can't imagine using FF on my laptop without it. When on my PC I just use my mouse and middle click to close tab, but I dont have a mouse when using my laptop and it is sooo much easier to just double click on the tab to close it, than to hit the stupid close tab button on the tab strip or on the individual tabs. Its great b/c you can double click anywhere on the tab and it closes. Thanks sooo much!
