便利に使っているんですが、差出人や宛先だけでなく、通信相手欄も反映することは出来ないでしょうか？

Thank you very much for this most useful addon. Except for 1 thing, it works quite well in TB 24.0:

If you group message list into threads, the addon fails to display anything. It does not matter wether I add new columns or replace exisiting ones. As soon as I switch to threaded view, columns become empty - once I switch back, they're back to good. You can easily reproduce this in a fresh profile with only your addon installed.

As my workflow depends on this addon a quick fix for this issue would be _highly_ appreciated.

いつも便利に使わせて頂いています。

下記の組み合わせでスレッド表示を有効にすると、スレッドのルートになる
メッセージの一部で表示名が空のカラムになってしまう事象が確認できました。

Thunderbird: 24.3.0
Sender Name: 0.7

アドオンの互換性チェックを無効にして 0.4a を導入してみたところ、こちらの
現象は起きなくなりました (0.5では同様に発生してしまいました)。

発生する表示名の例は、サンプルに個人情報が含まれているものばかりで
開示ができるものがないのですが、他に何か必要な情報があれば教えてください。

This does absolutely nothing except create columns that are completely blank.

It looks like I can't reply to your reply, so I'll post it here:

Thank you for your reply. I'm pulling mine from Exchange, and there is information automatically in the Display field in the address book. I'm using Firefox 24.3.0. I can get the display name to come in via the From column though. So, I'm very confused. Still, I got it to work. I'm happy to remove my review if you'd like.

I'm sorry for inconvenience. What's the version of Thunderbird? Do you write someting in the field of "Display Name" in the address book?

Changes are not saved. Is there any progress developing this addon? Or it has been abandoned?

Nice addon,but Did not work for me, settings were lost each time you switch to a different folder.

大変価値のあるアドオンを提供いただきありがとうございます
バグ報告先が不明のためこちらより失礼します

ver.5に更新しましたところ受信トレイで「表示名(差出人)」設定が反映されない現象が確認できました
設定を無効にしたりで再設定しても別のフォルダを表示させたりすると元に戻ってしまいます
なおver.4aに戻したところ正常に表示されています
お忙しいとは思いますが検証よろしくお願いします

発生環境
Mac OS X 10.6
Thunderbird 3.1.12

It changes the name shown in the message pane, for each email, but doesn't change anything in the thread pane as stated. The thread pane still shows the old, unfriendly data from the email.I'm looking for a replacement for "address book display name" which does change the thread pane columns. It hasn't been updated for TB5, so I thought I'd look at this add-on....... Going back to "address book display name" because it actually works, and putting off any update to TB5

Why we should need an addon to do this I don't know, because the bug is supposed to be 'fixed' that allows the option to display address book names to be used. Guess it was 'fixed' in TB3, and will start working a few updates later, maybe around TB7. HaHa

First: Did not work for me, settings were lost each time you switch to a different folder.

Second: I am not sure what you need this extension for. In TB 5 you get the same result by "menu, tools, options, advanced and then click display "show only display name for people in my address book"

いつも便利に使わせていただいております。
不具合報告の連絡先が不明でしたので、こちらに記載いたします。

Thunderbird バージョン3.1.11を使用しておりますが、アドレス帳の属性がメッセージリストペインに表示されない現象が発生しています。
設定画面を開き、デフォルトの内容で設定すると、受信トレイの内容は変更されるのですが、違うフォルダを開くと設定が反映されていない状態に戻ってしまいます。

お忙しいところ恐縮ですが、調査いただけますと幸いです。

Good add-on!! I continuously use this add-on forever, if any major problem.
Buy the way, I update the thunderbird 5 from 3 and also this add-on. But the column by this add-on shows just blank. I have been using nickname of address.

Could you add support for the Between column created by Thunderbird Conversations? It's basically a combined Sender and Recipient column.

Other than that, thanks a million times for fixing this very annoying bug.

The add-on I've been looking for.

It works even with the new Thunderbird 5.0 (you have to edit install.rdf file).

As already stated by JimbosSnackShack Thundebird should have this as default

This extension just works right out of the box! (although you can configure it a bit if you like).. but basically it removes a really irksome bug that has been lingering around Thunderbird for literally years. Someone should tell these guys that: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273884
