I wasn't sure how this (Thunderbird) would work out in my system, let alone add a theme to make it easier on the eyes.
I'd been using another slightly less user-friendly mail browser which works fine but didn't integrate too well with my antivirus.
As I spend a lot of my time peering into this monitor, having something that didn't give me arc-eye was something of a surprise.
This really is very easy to use and now reading email is much less of a case of "Where's my shades?"
I gave it a high rating because it appealed to my senses immediately. It's got most things gong for it as a theme.
1, It has reasonable contrast for the tool buttons.
2, It has soft tones rather than just a dark hole of greys and black.
3, It highlights messages without the neon effect that other 'dark' themes tend to use.
I could possibly go on,..
Having seen the revision history, this wasn't cooked up overnight and the effort put into it comes across as being from someone who takes a lot of care over what they do.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).
