Great add on!
Is would be great if it could detect when i switch language from the keyboard (Alt+Shift) and not only from the domain..
Is this possible? Cause it would be great help for people entering multiple languages in one text field!
Great thx in advance:)

I must says this is great add-on but sometimes it doesn't switch the language.

Hey this is nice! How a simple idea can make a difference.
This should be a standard Firefox feature, especially valuable here in Europe, with its many languages.
One little thing, on Canadian sites it chooses en-uk, while I have the en-ca dictionary installed. Has to be adjusted manually for every single site.

One word: fantastic!!!

Great addon!
I especially like the guess-my-language feature that detects the language as you type. At sites like gmail where you typically write in two different languages, it's the ultimate dictionary feature. Thank you!

A must have, for anyone using more than one dictionary in Firefox.
Does exactly what it says, and 90% of site it changes to the correct dictionary (ie English on .com and .uk sites, Danish on .dk sites and so on) without my interaction.
The last 10%? You just click the setting in the status bar, and it remembers the dictionary setting the next time you visit that site (only a problem if you want say a Danish dictionary on a non-.dk site).
Keep up the good work :o)

I'm using 2 dictionaries in my firefox and for me this expansion works just fine.
Thanks and please keep updating it to new firefox versions.

It works correctly and is easy to handle!
The auto-detect-function is only made for detecting locals (servers) .... so if you are tipping you have to change the language manual. I like and use very often!

It's easy and it works correctly, besides a nasty bug: text size in phpbb3 forums becomes huge. Same problem as reported by Lim-Dul on June 28, 2008

The experimental "Detect dictionary as I type" doesn't seem to do anything, while this would be the perfect solution.

This IS a nice plugin indeed but I'm still having problems with the text size. Both on 0.9 and 1.0. phpBB3 forums seem to be the ones suffering the most. Everything works fine once I disable the extension. :-\

Very useful add-on. Mozilla should include this kind of feature by default in their apps.
However, I just found a bug which affected to version 0.8.1 (at least on Firefox 3). It caused weird effects on the size and style of page texts. I realized that it only happened when it was unable to set a language automatically.
I'm using the version 0.9 now (download on the official website of Dao), and it seems to have that bug fixed. Good work ;) .

If your daily routine is bilingual, this one is indispensable.
Thanks, Dao, now I can switch to 3.0... (upgraded Aging Tabs would be nice, too, but take your time on that one).
