This is one of most feature I like TB at all - addons. This one especially, but now on nextcloud 12.03 I have a problem, that I cannot convert an attachment to filelink (cannot connect to server), but when I restart TB it works again till some time, On version owncloud 9.xx it works without issues. Please I this this is not a problem of nextcloud server, I think with filelink addon. Thank you, great job.

Worked as a charm until I've set up 2FA. I have only message "An error occurred while setting up the account" now. I've removed saved password from database but no joy, tried to leave message on forum but some ngix error only displayed (some other issue) Please advice.

First of all i'll say ty 4 this nice addon.
But there some issues to solve:
1.) MultiUser support
2.) Editing the settings and NOT delete & create the account
3.) if the Quota is set to unlimted in the server settings the addon can't upload.
It says that there is not enough space left
4.) If u put Attachments after row it won't work, just the first one will be uploaded.
Workaround:
a.) ZIP all files or
b.) Mark all files together and upload it at the same time
5.) Thunderbird puts the Attachments into the mail too therefore there is the link to the owncloud resource AND the file in raw data ->
This happens on all of my installations -> Windows 10/7, Ubuntu, Fedora ?!
I'm looking forward to an update ;)

Very nice piece of add-on.
Thanks a lot for it.
The problem I often have is that I have to configure -> setup account a first time..
Then, indeed, it waits forever.
At that point, cancel, restart Thunderbird, go to the preference tab for this plugin, remove the (bad) config existing for owncloud and add again with the same infos and it works directly...

Hi there
Looks great and I'd love to use it.
However I tried to run it but it just stuck at authorization. Tried using SSL with Let's Encrypt SSL Certs. TB didn't complain about unknown/self-sigend certs using oC 8.2.
Hence only 1 start because it didn't work for me. Will re-rate it once it works.

This addon hangs on authentication with my SSL certs from LetsEncrypt. When I click "set up account" it waits forever.
This is a _very_ nice addon so I hope it will be fixed

I've tried it with Thunderbird v38.3.0 on GNU/Linux Fedora 23 and it didn't work. I couldn't make it connect to my server, neither using https nor http.

Thanks for that addon. It's working but has some "issues".
I'm introducing owncloud @work and got filelink working so far. But I'm also using owncloud @home and at both locations I'm missing the possibility to have both owncloud instances as filelink server. Also there's no possibility to name the menu entries accordingly - they named simply "owncloud" which is not sufficient. Further it would be nice if one could edit the serversettings instead deleting and add again
Thank you
Jürgen

Nice idea, but it does not work for me: it is not clear to me how to fill in the fields in the form to connect to my OwnCloud server. I tried a lot of combinations, finally I was able to finish editing the form so that the Addon configuration form was accepted.
However, when adding an attachment to an e-mail and choosing FileLink->OwnCloud an error without further explanation occurs. It just reports "error when uploading to OwnCloud" and I don't know how to debug this connection error...

Nom d'utilisateur
Chemin de sauvegarde vers ownCloud
Password for uploaded files

Same problem that the one described by I_like_that.
With the latest version of owncloud (8.1) the link of the shared file is wrong (&download instead of /dowload at the end of the link).
How to solve this ?
I haven't encountered this problem with version 8.0.

Hi,
Please try version 1.3 of the addon. The download link should be fixed...
