I'm amazed! No English (British) spellchecker but you have them for Scottish Gaelic - mind boggling!

Works pretty well but I think these words should be added donator, teleport, afterwards, combinations, Zealand, Los Angeles, spellcheck and Barack Obama.

I can confirm not working with FF 3.6.10, latest version and Firefox doesn't even list it as a dictionary. Also nothing happens when I click add dictionary in Firefox.

If you look at the developer contents you'll see the core of this spellchecker's shortcomings: "I would remember to everybody that this extension provides only an United States English spellchecker". It's clear from this sentence that the author is not a native speaker of English, and this is a dictionary for spellchecking, not definitions. Its list of words could also be considerably expanded -- to include words like "spellchecker" for instance. That said it's still the only game in town for users of U.S. English who do a lot of writing in a browser window, and correcting and adding words is a simple matter of right-clicking and picking the correct option.

Ok it's rather a spell checker than a dictionary but is still helpful as such

This is a spell checker, not a dictionary. A dictionary contains word definitions, please quit calling a spell checker a dictionary.

This is a great add-on. Easy to use, unobtrusive, accurate. I use it every day. I just hope they make it available for Firefox 4.

I understand that it will works in correcting dispelled words. It could be a great help in checking the spelling of every words. It is a software dictionary that allow us to make our spelling correct.

I found out why this spell checked did not change any menus.
This spell checker does NOT check the words on a web page.
You have to type in a form textbox then right click to select "check spelling".
I was looking for a way to check the spelling of all the words on a web page not just in forms.

I installed on FF 3.6.3. There are no instructions on how to use. I did not find anything new in the menus. No new icons. I have no idea how to start this. It appears to not exists. Nothing in the forum. The developer does not support. So I uninstalled it as not usable.

Nice and easy add-on but people should understand that it works by underlining incorrectly spelled words in red, and to insert a word, ignore, or add to dictionary, you must right click on the word. Also, if installed as instructed, it will only check spelling in text-area boxes. To check spelling in all fields of a form you will have to change the "layout.spellcheckDefault" parameter from 1 to 2 as described here http://www.pcworld.com/article/163812/article.html

This is a great add-on but it needs to be updated.
Some simple words are not corrected...example..."dont" does not offer the corrected version of "don't".

I installed this and the preferences for this add-on does not come activated. Also there is no menu option anywhere to access this,..looks like the installation didn't work. Using Firefox 3.6.
