Excellent response by the developer. Reported a bug you only run into in very special situations yesterday and got within less than 12 hours a corrected AddOn!!!!! GREAT!
This tool is a big timesaver in many situations. Test it!

I use this add-on a lot and absolutely love it. because I have to save thousands of images every day for my design research and It helped me to save images by just one click. but currently, an error occured. when I activate Save Images, some keys on my keyboard - tab, page up, page down, home, end etc.- don't work at all though the function of Save Images works well. I don't know if I'm the only one who have this sort of problem or others too... but can you tell me How to fix this? Thank you anyway it's still one of my favorite add-on :)

I've struggled to fix the problem for few days and suddenly the malfunction was gone. I don't know why this happened and how it was fixed but thanks to developers for trying to help me to solve the problem!
Can you please email me (plashcor@gmail.com) with the following details and I will look into the problem:
1) Operating system you are using
2) Firefox version
3) Website address you are trying to save images from
4) "Save Images" version (this can be found on the Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions page that Firefox opens)
5) In "Save Images Options", export the settings and send me the file

Thank you! Steep addition - all functions can be customized. But can you change the thermonuclear blue in the save dialogue box (and in options box),on some softer color? Thanx!

The developer seems to be on top of things. The errors I mentioned in my previous review (and in reviews expressed by others) have been fixed. Everything seems to be working great again!
Highly convenient add-on! Recommended for everyone!

thx

A great add-on in it's previous version - close tabs not working now which is a real pain, that was my favorite bit!

Latest version 0.8.8 has this bug, it doesn't close windows, and in some pages it doesn't save the images.
Previous version worked fine. How to downgrade?

Saves a Lot of Bandwidth and Time For Slower connections and Faster To Retrieve Images.I hope Mozilla makes this a standard and the BACK buttons browse the same Follow suit.
UPDATE: It works as a BULK can't Capture a Specific Image and Must Highlight to activate Function. doesn't work If you right Click ONE specific image.

Even the confirmation dialog box matched my theme. Love the attention to detail.

It's great - but it would be even more useful to me if you could select image tabs from the tab bar, and then have a tab context-menu option to save - and then close - only those chosen image tabs - rather than ALL the right/left image tabs. Thankyou.

Could you add an option to manipulate address bar links
such as if i would want to remove a single letter from a link for example "100_s.gif" i would want to automatically get rid of "_s" then save the content in that link
also a way to manipulate words if a have the word "small" in the address link i would like to change it automatically to "large" then save the content of that new link to a folder

Cant find where to report this problem, might as well try here.Firstly, this is a great addon. It saved me a lot of time and one of the reasons why im sticking with firefox.Lately, I've been having problems saving images. I get an error which states that I dont have permission to save/write. I tried with another less efficient addon, "Image downloader 2" and that one worked. I can also save with the default rightclick save image.I cant seem to figure out what is causing this problem.Tried restarting the machine, reinstalling the addon, change attribute of the save destination folder. Nothing works.

Update: Lumox, the developer, helped me with the problem very quickly and I can start collecting images now. Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks for a great addon
Could You add a "auto save" function for "Open SELECTED links in 1 tab"
To select images on the page, then select "Open SELECTED links in 1 tab"
images are opened in a background tab as usually
then, after the page loads, automatically save images and close the tab?
I think it would be useful

It has potential but there are bugs/missing options that makes it hard to use.
1. Save Images from the tab doesnt check if the same picture is used multiple times.
Number - Length > Duplicate with numbers
Overwrite > Same Picture stores itself X Times
Prompt > It asks you to store your Picture X times
Ignore > If you store from a different Site files get ignored even if its a different picture
Url and/or MD5 check would fix this without leaving duplicate name (different picture) out
2. Folder Options needs improvements for last download folder because this works only properly if you force saving in the directory you want the files to store
Adding the option to ASK before storing would help. Also to configure a key combination to set the dl folder would be nice.
3. File Names, Asking is good, but the directory is always blank
All the options for "Duplicate Files" work as intended. By what I understand from your review, I suggest that you check "Append the tab title to the Save Folder" or "Append image url folder structure to Save Folder" so that duplicate images are saved in different folders.
I will add options for items (2) and (3) and fix the bug for "last download folder" when prompted for a file name and the "Folder" is blank.

Hi, this extension is almost perfect. The only missing functionality - naming downloaded image file by image's alt attribute contents. Add this and perfection will be here!
