DKIM module doesn't work anymore with TDB 78.x.
Is there any plan to get it working one day?
Thx
You can get a pre-release that should work with TB 78 from
https://github.com/lieser/dkim_verifier/releases
Although still not finished, I still decided to also upload it here. So automatic update should work once it is reviewed.
The progress to finalize the release is tracked at https://github.com/lieser/dkim_verifier/issues/199
Next time please don't use the reviews to report problems. Use https://github.com/lieser/dkim_verifier/issues or write me an E-Mail (in English or German).

I used this addon before tb68. After update this addon has been disabled, after version 3.1 it enabled again. BUT it not work, I can't see any DKIM messages, and settings page missed too. Reinstalling not help.
console log says this addon not start cause of:
----
1597741731873 addons.webextension.dkim_verifier@pl WARN Loading extension 'dkim_verifier@pl': Reading manifest: Warning processing legacy: An unexpected property was found in the WebExtension manifest.
---
I delete addon, opened addons tab, searched 'dkim'. I can-not install this addon from web - "this addon not compatable with your TB" I have actual TB version 78.1.1, wtf?
Version 3.x.x is not compatible with TB 78. A compatible version is in progress, but not finished yet.

If all you want is DKIM info... this is the best addon.
Se você quer apenas DKIM... esta é a melhor extensão.

Work pretty well

Excellent add-on!
If you enable "Read Authentication-Results header" checkbox in the settings for this add-on, you can see the result of not only DKIM but also SPF and DMARC in the header pane for each message.

This add-on works perfectly, and the developer give support and update it (it is never sure of these times for many add-ons).

This is a new feature (Cryptographic Algorithm and Key Usage Update (RFC 8301)). But you can disable the warning, see https://github.com/lieser/dkim_verifier/issues/141#issuecomment-496317683 for details.
You can also try to report this to the sender, so that they update their key to a bigger one.

Работает отлично.

DKIM for hotmail.com does not work although hotmail has a valid DKIM record.
I guess CNAME entries are not evaluated, that's why.
This plugin is incomplete. It does not evaluate DKIM records correct.

Not compatible with ARC (Authenticated Received Chain), used by GMail and others.
But very good plugin!

Non compatible avec le projet ARC (Authenticated Received Chain) qui est utilisé par Gmail, entre autre.
Mais ce plugin reste très utile !

Nice, easy, unobtrusive way to verify a message's DKIM signature.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.6.1).Rated 5 out of 5 stars
English:
DKIM is to email security a little bit like polychrome letterhead for paper mail: it's not the guarantee that the sender is who he claims, but the letter comes very probably from where it claims to be originated.
In this regard, this addon is discrete and effective: it verifies the DKIM signatures when they are present. In my opinion, this really advised security feature should be included in Thunderbird for all users automatically.
---

Provides an easy way to view detailed information about a message's DKIM information and verification. Invaluable if one is diagnosing DKIM message signing and handling.
Highly recommended!

I just ran into the same issue as reported by Martin in his review: https://addons.mozilla.org/EN-uS/thunderbird/addon/dkim-verifier/reviews/701478/
I am running DKIM Verifiier 1.3.6, Thunderbird 38.4.0, Fedora 22. Unchecking General:DNS:Get DNS servers from OS configuration fixed it. (Thank you Martin!)
Possibly related, my resolv.conf is constantly being changed by connecting/disconnecting to VPNs.
Thank you Phillippe for this add-on, it should be part of Thunderbird by default!

Works perfectly with other domains, where results match with online DKIM verification tools. However, with our own domain (which passes all DKIM online verification tools) it returns the error "Invalid (DKIM key is ill-formed)" on mails sent internally.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3.6).This is the wrong place to report bugs in the add-on.
Please e-mail me to dkim.verifier.addon@gmail.com or open a issue at https://github.com/lieser/dkim_verifier/issues.
Needed detail are at least your domain and used selector (to get the DKIM key). Best would be to provide an affected e-mail as a saved .eml file.

Reading the Authentication-Results header should be the normal behavior, since DKIM was designed to be verified by the receiving server. However, each server should have its own settings and policies (for example, some servers don't bother writing results for failed signatures, since they should be treated as non-existing.)
This add-on highlights those results by reporting them on the message window, along with From:, Subject:, and To:. Kudos for that!
Doing the crypto is good for servers that don't do it themselves, and for manual action. Such late verification may fail for old messages.
