Didn't actually give me conversations, just the conversation view of individual messages. Left the folder structure messed up after uninstall.

My messages started to download so slowly I can't be sure if they downloaded

Uninstalling this plugin did not revert the changes it performed on my setup.
Inbox, Drafts, Templates and Sent folders are left in the root of my folder tree. Very unconfortable.
Don't try this add on on your main thunderbird setup / account.

Works really well. Finally Inbox and Sent-Folder together in one thread. Would like to have more CSS-style-options.

Used this plugin for a couple of years and then it stopped loading conversations when Thunderbird was restarted. Many have this problem and it was never fixed. I would not recommend it as there are other existing problems. And it appears the plugin is not going to get any serious support.
The only solution is use TB's built in conversation mode. It's not bad. The plugin helped streamline it but you have to use what works and the plugin doesn't.
Stay away from Mailbird. I allowed myself to be sold on it and what a waste of money. I bought strictly to be able to use a better conversation mode since this plugin started failing but organizationally Mailbird was written by 12 year olds. It is not an email app for real business users. It lacks so many features it is laughable. And will not import IMAP accounts. This is a fair warning, you will regret it if you purchase.
Thunderbird is still the best email app around.

I expected it to rearrange my email into threads/conversations. What I got was a mess that rearranged email and folders into a train wreck that could only be straightened out by uninstalling and reinstalling Thunderbird. Meaning all my filters... GONE! All my customization... GONE! Partially my fault as I didn't read the reviews prior to installing this POS.

Last update was May 25... The installer doesn't work anymore in 45.3 freezes at "working".
The tabs opened in a session, can't be viewed when you restart Thunderbird.
So sad seeing this proyect dying :(

Looked like it might help make things more organized, but actually did the opposite as it had the effect of taking a neat mess and splattering it all over the place like a toddler using an electric mixer on the cat's milk bowl. Had to uninstall it. It altered the layout for single messages that didn't have any conversation to them. It turned on Unified Inbox which means that a single message is no longer in a unique folder within its account but mixed in with a jumble of multiple things.

One of the good add-on from both a user and software developer perspective.

Conversations are handy; but, new responses can get buried.
If there were an option to toggle conversations to show up based on newest thread entry date instead of first, that would make it much easier to spot newly updated conversations.

I like the addon it does what it's supposed to but besides the big visual improvement, I don't really see the big advantage in comparison to the default Thunderbird view.
I'd like to have a FULL conversation view where I can use a Contacts window instead of the inbox window and see all the emails I got or exchanged with this specific email address when i click a contact.
Anyway work's as good as gmail and that is what it's supposed to do. Keep it up!

I am Japanese, and a name of address-book (in the thread panes) is usually displayed in order of last-name and first-name (e.g. Watanabe Ken).
However, in current version, the order looks like fixed as first-name and last-name (Ken Watanabe).

Module très utile dans Thunderbird.
Seul hic, un bug avec la version 45.1 qui empêche le chargement des messages …
sinon parfait !

Nie działa TBgallery od wersji 45. Jak to naprawić?

I tried conversations, did not like them, and now I cannot seem to get rid of them. Mails come in and are sorted according to who sent them and it is a royal pain in the-you-know-what, because Thunderbird always collapses the threads and it messes up the chronological view. I removed Conversations but the collapsed threads remain. How did that happen? For this huge bug, the add-on gets one star.

In addition to remote images bug as reported by Jorg K....
Enabled Converstions.
Select email with pdf attachment so it is viewed in Message Pane.
click on 'preview'
a new tab opens and you see 'Loading' with a spinning wheel icon.
This does not ever actually load. It is stuck on 'Loading'.
Another person on support forum had this issue, so I tested it and got the same result.
I'm using the correct version of Conversations 2.11.3
