it is useful to have a weather displayed in your calendar. it is even more useful to have the forecast; this, however, would have much better place in the header's of the days (similar to google calendar). the most useful version of the forecast is when one is having different meetings in different locations - this could obviously not fit the event box in month view but could do so in the day view; in the other views it could be displayed in the preview bubble.
this would definitely get my vote to 5 stars - as it is i uninstalled it as it is inconvenient.

Good but... It doesnt "remember" the settings of the view (day or forecast). Coulpe of smaller bugs. I hope these will be ironed out. Keep Up the good work!

Great idea. But is not very convenient because it occupies too much place on the side pannel. Maybe make it be hideable?
Also it is a bit buggy, the vertical scrollbar on the side pannel starts to jump & jerk chaotically when I try to scroll it. (On this pannel I got also lightening addon, maybe WW+ interferes with it?)

I, too, like the simple effectiveness of this extension. The only suggestions I have (for now :D) are for the forecast box: (1) an option for a list format (DOW, day graphic & temp / night graphic & temp), (2) an option to use just the 3-letter abbreviations for day of the week instead of their full name. Thanks.

I love the simplicity: just the current temps with a hover for details.
The problem, for me, is that I am "forced" to having the panel open. If I hide the World Weather+ panel, when I hover over the status bar icon, I get an empty gray box.
I get the same result in Thuderbird 2.0.0.9 and Sunbird 0.7.
Otherwise, FANTASTIC!!

World Weather+ is a very basic test + graphic weather Add-on. It only gives current weather. If you are using a side-bar Add-on (Contact Sidebar for example), then unfortunately, it needlessly takes up more space than necessary. It would greatly benefit from lining up the weather icon and text horizontally, instead of vertically. In addition, an option to move it to the Status Bar would be better still.

I have been waiting for a long time since Thunderbird1.5
Firefox has Forecastfox,but Thunderbird is more suitable for weather add-on,because it keeps running usually.
