Must-have extension for years, eagerly anticipating the 128+ compatible release, many thanks for building and maintaining it. Pls move to github or alike to allow contributions.

Hi Dennis, thanks for the review. Xpunge is on GitHub, as of a couple of weeks ago, initially to allow collaboration for the TB 128 rewrite (which was not done by me). Follow the "Support site" email on the main page of Xpunge.

I can't live without this add-on. I use it before downloading items from RSS feeds. Hopeful for the TB 128 support. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the review. You mentioned that you use Xpunge with RSS feeds. Do you mind sending me an email (using the Support Email on the Xpunge page)? I'd like to discuss something.

Very useful addon.
I've used it a lot for years.
Looking forward to the version that works with the latest Thunderbird

Thank you so much for further working on Xpunge for newer Thunderbird Versions, and thank you for the other Dev who helped for this horrible work. Please keep this Add-on keep alive, it is really important to have it in Thunderbird as the build-in functions not really work as expected!

Thank you so much Theodore for helping to bring your addon back into TB128+. This extension is being sorely missed!

Thanks Theodore Tegos! I used this all the time and will miss it due to the TB 128 changes that require a rebuild. There seems to be nothing else like it out there. I understand about not being able to do a rewrite. We wish you well, and thanks again for a cool add-on!

Thanks for the review. Stay tuned, Xpunge is coming to TB 128 soon.

Does exactly what we expect. Perfect! You need to be careful since it's a mighty tool: Check all your spam/junk etc... folders before clicking the wipe out button!

This is one of those "permanent" extensions that one actually sees as part of Thunderbird, and not an add-on. I cannot live without it. Thank you!

Excellent add-on, but I wish that it would recognize protonmail's SPAM folder as a Junk folder.

Works great on 102.5.1
(I have about 25 email accounts and this is very useful)
Great work. Thanks.

Great addon, but MultiXpunge doesn't work on Thunderbird 102.2.0, only Xpunge works.

Can you please use the "Support E-mail" and send me an email to troubleshoot your issue together?

This is probably the only add-on that I've used for years that just keeps on working, long after everyone else has abandoned thunderbird because of its' constant extension-breaking twists and turns. THANK YOU for that!

I just updated to TB ver. 91.2.1 and Xpunge quit working. I tried disabling it and then re-enabling it, but that didn't work. Next I tried removing the extension and all its settings, then reinstalling it. This worked and things are back to normal. Great extension, really does the job.

After TB auto-updated to v91 the Xpunge add-on icon on the toolbar was gone. Disabling or removing the Xpunge add-on, and then adding the Xpunge add-on back to Tb91 did not [originally] provide the icon to select and add it to the toolbar. However, after restarting Tb91 multiple times the Xpunge icon mysteriously appeared back on the toolbar but relocated to the far right-hand position on the toolbar. (Maybe the last update on 10/11/2021 fixed the missing icon.) I'm happy to report that Xpunge is back working again to empty the trash folder and compact the folders as the developer intended it to be used by single clicking on the Xpunge toolbar icon!
The Xpunge add-on is worthy of 5 Stars!

Author won't fix it through script pretending it's a tb's issue.

why this addon's useless:

3 steps with addon:

1. click on xpunge button
2. the number of deleted emails doesn't disappear, so you need to click on trash again (he won't fix it)
3. click on inbox again.

without addon:

1. click on trash
2. ctrl+A & del button
3. move back to inbox.
