Allows easy access to browser and add-on controls and allows for efficient use of toolbar real estate. A must-have for power users.
I recently noticed that some buttons (File, Edit, View, etc.) don't work in TB2 and TB3.

What about adding a Google-cache button?

One of the most useful and under-rated extensions out there. This is a high priority extension. One of the first I install. Place buttons where ever. buttons include undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, find, top of page, bottom of page, translate, text size, fullscreen, restart, update, about:config/plugins/cache, and a lot more.

Thank you, you've made life a whole lot easier, this should be built in to firefox.

used toolbar_button_maker and created just one single button "Stop All". And that made my life better!!! Thanks!

I've been looking for buttons to fill that space in my browser and this is perfect! I have filled the top of my navigation toolbar with many of these buttons, all of which I use frequently and just the job! Just drag and drop the ones you use onto the browser, couldn't be easier! The buttons look really bright, clear and cheerful and I couldn't be happier - brill!

Essential add-on. I found particularly useful the find button for text search, which allows you to activate the find toolbar without the hassle of pressing CTRL+F.

Exactly what I wanted to add buttons to easily enlarge and reset the screen for an app I use on MySpace. Thank you!

update works fine so far with FFox 3.5, but some of my favorite buttons for TBird, like Tools Menu and Themes, don't function with TB 2.0.0.23. I will stick with version 0.6.0.5 for TBird for now.

is there a way to make your own buttons? i really would love to have my Bookmarks folder in my Navigation toolbar! i've tried "Bookmarks Menu" but it doesn't use my Mac OS X theme & instead uses the Internet Explorer folders.
P.S. i love the buttons by the way!

This is a very cool add-on. I found out about it through a newsfeed from How-To Geek (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4453/add-specialized-toolbar-buttons-to-firefox-the-easy-way/) That feed also includeda helper sites for this add-on to make one's own buttons:

Here is the reply concerning the post installation issues I listed below:
"I have put the newer file on the official add-ons site (AMO). Just they can take a very long time to approve updates."
Post installation note: There are some issues about this download I have posted on the support site at:

Otherwise, I stand by my original review:
As stated, it includes a lot of buttons. I haven't checked but after installing this ad-on there is probably a button for every function on the browser. All added buttons go to your customize screen so installation is seamless and transparent. Just right click > customize and there is your same customize toolbar box along with a bunch of new buttons added to FF's basic offering. Drag and drop as before. Worth having even if you only us a couple of them.

Great addon in general while it was working (granted I've only been using for about a day).
I am getting a message saying that this isn't compatible with FF 3.5.3. It worked when I first installed it earlier today--and now it doesn't. Is there something I should know?

Thunderbird: doesn't it make much more sense to add the "change dictionary" button to the (new, reply, forward) message window? I now have to go back to the main window, change dic and open message again :-(
Thanks a lot!

INDISPENSABLE!!!!!!! Whenever I start-up a new Firefox install, I feel handicapped without this add-on.

I added this to replace FirefoxMenuButtons, which does not work with FF3.5. The only buttons I really needed were for bookmarks. Unfortunately, the only only ones available in this addon are for Favorites. I keep looking at the toolbar and wondering what those stupid stars are for, and then I remember that IE uses them for "favorites." (I've only used IE for updating Windows.) Please create bookmark icons that look like bookmarks!
