FireFTP has been and will always be an awesome plugin for quickly using FTP without needing to get an extra FTP Client and it's really sad that Mozilla just axed it down.

It has been a really great time with this addon.

This is my favorite browser addon. I've used it as long as it has existed I think. Shame on you Firefox. As it turns out this addon was my only need for Firefox. Now that support is removed, I too can move on.

What a shame that Fire ftp is no longer supported. Have you thought about a KickStarter campaign to help build a Firefox 57.xx add-on?
In my humble opinion, you would likely get such a huge response, there would be enough resources to hire a dev team.
I hope you think about it. Fire ftp was the best ftp client ever for simplicity and functionality.
Thank you for all your hard work. You have left a historic legacy. I didn't realize it was 13 years already!
Do a crowd funding campaign!

sehr schlecht. Er hat super funktioniert. Wirklich sehr schade. Liebes Mozilla Team überlegt es Euch nochmal, ob Ihr Millionen von Usern in aller Welt dermassen enttäuschen wollt. Ich jedenfalls vermisse den fireftp sehr. Er fehlt mir jetzt schon.

Mit Tränen in den Augen verabschiede ich mich von diesem tollen super kleinen Add on.

Esta solucion es de las mejores que he trabajdo siempre la uso. la recomiendo totalmente, la transferencia de archivos a diferentes clientes linux, windows es excelente.
ademas firefox se puede usar desde cualquier plataforma y hace ftp desde/hacia todas las plataformas (almenos las que he tenido a disposicion).
Super !! espero impaciente la version que sea compatible con quantum.

FireFTP NOT Compatable with FF 57

Due to important stability and security concerns, FireFox needed to drop the add-ons and move to extensions. I enjoyed using FireFTP, however it no longer works in FireFox and can't be converted to an extension (no sockets). So I tried using three free alternative FTP clients: WinSCP, FileZilla, and Cyberduck. I prefer WinSCP because of it's simplicity and similarities to FireFTP. The other two have lots of extras that I don't need and thus make them more complicated to use.

After 13 years and 25 million downloads later, Firefox has officially removed FireFTP and FireSSH support from the browser. Thus, I've ended support / development of the addons. I recommend switching to Waterfox to continue using the addons.

El mejor servicio FTP facil de usar sin necesidad de descargar programas adicionales solo el navegador y listo.
Ojala se actualice muy pronto!!! :( :(

I'm leaving a 5 star review because FireFTP has served me faithfully for many years now. I'm saddened that this extension will not be moving forward on the newest Firefox but I certainly understand why.

Thanks for all the hard work you have put in.

Today I found myself without a working FTP plugin when Firefox unexpectedly auto upgraded on me. I have other FTP tools, but FireFTP holds all of my primary sites. I spent some time writing a conversion process from FireFTP into FileZilla. If you found yourself unable to pull out your site data and are faced with trying to migrate your data to another app, check out the script I wrote to aid my own conversion process.

It requires some extra technical knowledge but may be able to help you recover your information even though FireFTP is no longer functional.

Since FireFTP was removed from FireFox, I followed the instructions and installed Waterfox. However, when I installed FireFTP from Waterfox the addon did not install.

Desde hace años uso esta extensión como gestor, ftp, de hecho creo que es FIREFOX siempre ha sido lo mejor para desarrollar web gracias a estas extensiones.

Your website sucks - I have used Modzilla ftp prior but now I have redownloaded, downloaded 2 additional files supposedly needed to down load a file and still can not access FireFTP
