Love this plugin, Would be nicer with built in plain text. Also updated for Thunderbird 3.0.4 would be great!!

This extension is really great, saves me a lot of time! It works beautifully on Firefox 3.6.3. 'Copy Plain Text' wouldn't work together with 'AutoCopy' on Firefox 3.6.3. My solution to this was to uninstall FF 3.6, install FF 3.5, add the add-ons, and then upgrade to FF 3.6. Now I have 'AutoCopy' combined with 'Copy Plain Text' in the latest Firefox version. This was for anybody who has the same problem (my OS is Vista). Great extension! Five stars!

Autocopy won't allow you to copy paste in google docs. Even with web paste.
Basically, you will have to disable it if you want to use google docs.

Thanks for the update! Didn't realized how much I had come to rely on this until FF update broke the previous version. This one (v1.0.1) is working perfectly for me w/ FF 3.6.2; much appreciated.

@ Handy Randy ... it works just fine for me. I love this extension and use it, well, extensively. :) The only thing I could wish for is having a context menu option where highlighting any text on a page would also put the page url with it.

I can't get this extension to work in Firefox 3.6. I highlight text and attempt to paste, but what I highlighted isn't pasting. The previous clipboard contents paste instead. This extension worked great in FF 3.0.18. Perhaps I'll have to switch back to that version of FF :(

Extension is otherwise excellent, and massively useful. An update to correct the maxversion issue on TB would be appreciated - thanks.

Good extension, very useful.
But there's a bug - in case you close tab from which you copied text - copying buffer becomes empty.

To get AutoCopy 1.0.1 to work with Thunderbird 3.0.3 I had to modify the install.rdf file (I opened up the downloaded .xpi with 7-zip then edited install.rdf)
Change to install.rdf:
Under the Thunderbird section, change the maxVersion to 3.0.3
3.0.3
Then save (also updates the archive) and install as normal.
