I believe this would be a very useful extension.
But it doesn't work with my 2.0.0.6 Thunderbird.

Very nice add-on. I hated it that I had to keep thunderbird minimized into the taskbar of windows to get notifications of new mail. This makes it much easier and now I have more space on my taskbar.
Very nice add-on, great work!

I love your add-on. I use it for FF, TB and SB.
Works great except for this SB quirk.
Hope you can fix it.

Runs well, except one small problem, when I start Sunbird version 3.1, two applications open, so I must close one.

I use the same add-on for Firefox 5.0 and Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 without any problems.

When I disable the Add-on for Sunbird, one application opens. I assume that the problem is with the add-on.

I run all three applications on my portable drive.

In install.rdf, you must replace

2.0a1

with

2.0.0.*

to allow installation with Thunderbird 2.0.0.x

Very very nice, i love when i can keep my Thunderbird on all the time without seeing it minimized and being bothered by it.

The only thing I think you need to do in order to make that extension perfect isadd a way to block (password protect) it when in the tray. I love it.

Hey, I think your App is fabulous! I'm wondering if there is a function to limit the number of open instances of Firefox that can exist in the tray. If I accidentally open Firefox by any other means than clicking on the icon in the tray a new instance is created and I really don't want this. Are you guys able to solve this?

I always wanted to be able to do this and remove some clutter from the task bar, and now I can. This is great and easy to use extension.

Simple extension that works wonders...I like that!

Yeah, there's that issue with lightning about the dates...But I believe that's a flaw in lightning and hopefully it'll be corrected in later versions of lightning. Awesome Job, dude!

P.S.: It'd be great if this extension would work on Sunbird. Everytime you used it on sunbird, you get two Sunbird windows when you open it up for the first time.

It works great and is very useful for a program like Thunderbird which I have open all the time, but like to have it in the background most of the time.

Now I dont bother about my email until I receive one or need to send one. No more accidentally clicking the wrong button ... No more alt+tabbing around TB either. This ext has done for TB what handsfree kits did for cellphones...well...kinda.
Great job man.

I used to use this addon a lot when I used Thunderbird for my email. I remember it being very useful for getting rid of clutter around the bottom of my screen.
