Hello Wang,

Nice to see that you are the brain behind this extension either.

It made searching multiple times easier than the standard Thunderbird search "crap".

Now, as I see you may still concentrate quite much time on your extensions to "overcome" the enhancements of v.68 ...
Boring to see, how Mozilla does NOT CARE on its supporters, and abruptly alters Thunderbird's API, so that NO extensions work anymore...

So, WE your most trustful supporters (the users of your extensions) want to thank you one more for your nice work. We apologize for Mozilla's weak strategy in regard to its free-APIs, and we want to give you support to keep your nice work.

This addon is my main reason to use Thunderbird like others. This software increases my productivity 10 times. It really really helpful. I have made donations in the sense of gratitude until now. And I really hope the programer to update!!

Great add-on, brought so much value to me, I use it literally 100 times a day. Like many others, I am desperately waiting for it to be updated for TB 68! This functionality should be built into TB, in my opinion.

The functionality that this addon provides is so powerful that I almost can't use Thunderbird without it. Eagerly awaiting a new version that is compatible with v68+.

In the meantime, I may have to downgrade TB just so I can use it.

Searching for email without this addon is much less efficient. My productivity is really down after loosing this. Please update for latest TB !!!

This add-on is THE REASON for using Thunderbird. With it, T-bird becomes a highly efficient email client, capable of retrieving any individual message with a minimum of input. Without it, the program is almost disabled. I find myself unable to work without this extension. I have donated to Wang Opera along with a plea to continue development, and I urge you to do the same.

Fantastic, but incompatible with current version of Thunderbird. Can developer do something about it? In new Thunderbird it's own feature- limited-search replaced expression search at the same place so I was wondering why did it stop working all of a sudden. supper confusing and I miss the functionality so much now :(

I see in GitHub that there may be a v1.4 on its way. Can we expect that in the near future?

Fantastic software!.. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE upgrade 'GMailUI' to be compliant with the latest version(s) of Firefox.

NB: As of this writing, the current version of Firefox is v72.0.1.

This is an extremely useful tool for anybody who has thousands of emails to search through. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with newer Thunderbird releases.

To use this tool:
Click Tools - Options - Config Editor
Click "I accept the risk"
Search for "update.enabled"
Change value to False

Exit out of Thunderbird
Uninstall Tunderbird using Add-Remove programs
Install Thunderbird version 60.0
archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/60.0/win64/en-US/

After all that is done, you should then be able to install and use the add-on.

Love this add-on, BUT waiting for a formal release that supports 68.3.1.

I hope this add-on is still being supported and updated. Hopefully, 1.4 is close.

This works with 68.3.1 IF
you install the beta (1.4 rc1)
AND disable/re-enable/restart each time
Something about the install does not get done on a normal opening of TB

Really cool plugin, I use it every day. A great add on will be to add the possibility to highlight the matching string in the body of the filtered mails
