First of all great addon. Add lots of functionality which is awesome. But I really need this one here: superuser.com/questions/21088/mozilla-sunbird-multi-day-event-looks-weird-in-calendar If this would be possible to add, I will give the full 5 stars. That would be amazing :)

Unfortunately, this feature is beyond the scope of the Calendar Tweaks add-on. This feature really needs to be added into the Lightning calendar add-on. The original feature request that you refer to was made in 2003, so the change is probably not easy to make.

I moved to Thunderbird from MS Outlook and missed being able to colour event backgrounds by category rather than by which calendar they are in. Calendar colours looked rather flat by comparison and lacked reconfigurability.This add on addressed these items perfectly. Nice that you can still tell which calendar an event is in by the flash of colour at the right hand side. The repeat event icon is a good addition and very clear. An excellent add-on, thanks!

Would be possible to add week numbers for Month and Multiweek calendar views ? There is a request for it https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357012 but it probably won't happen soon since it is requested for 9 years :-) Thanks.

Excellent add-on. I've been using it almost since it first came out. Makes my calendar much easier to read. Since you can now specify the colour of 'Today' and of the 'selected day', I was wondering if there was any way it could be extended to select the background colour of all days in the current month and those days shown for beginning & end of other months. Just an idea..

This is a good idea and will be considered for the next release of Calendar Tweaks.

For completeness, the backgrounds for all types of days would be made configurable:
- weekday this month background
- weekend this month background
- weekday other months background
- weekend other months background

When using Calendar Tweaks in conjunction with complete theme 'Australis Redesign TB 31.7.5' the calendar tweaks colours for events are overided universally by the green colour applied by the theme, all events staying green. Is there a way around this problem?

To resolve the conflicts between the Australis ReDesign theme and Calendar Tweaks would require too much effort to make it worthwhile.

May be Today only? Because user`s mistake with "Today-DayView mix" in Week/Month/Multi-Week Views is unlikely, as I think...

A big thank you to the developer, v6.0 is now working great in TB 31 and Lightning 3.3.
A few useful extras have been added, as well.

Excellent pour la personnalisation des couleurs des cases "Aujourd'hui" et sélectionnée. Pas besoin d'éditer de feuille de style, il suffit de cliquer sur Options > Calendar Tweaks Options. En effet, par défaut dans Lightning, je trouve que les couleurs de ces cases sont trop pales et donc trop peu visibles.

Now you can tweak the colors to your hearts' desire and see the outcome in the open calendar without leaving the prefs window -- just click 'Apply'.

Good add-on, but I echo some other people in saying it would be great to be able to customise colours - in particular, the colour of "today" in month or multi-week views. The pink that this addon changes it to is slightly better than Lightning's default yellow, but it's still hard to see unless you search...

When displaying an event that lasts for multiple days, I would like to see it running accross the days rather than repeating it for each day! Please add this!

The different colors filling the complete event rather than just a small part of it make the calandar so much more readable. Thank you very much for writing this add-on.

As I have already said in my previous reviews, I love this addon as it provides a visual upgrade to Lightning in Thunderbird which is not only aesthetically pleasing but it actually enhances the usability of the calendar function, particularly if you are using TB on an Exchange server. With this addon and the Exchange provider, Lightning becomes better calendar client for the Exchange server than Outlook, while keeping all the benefits of TB over Outlook. There is, however, one issue that I would like to see fixed - I expected this to be done in Lightning, but my second-best guess would be this addon. When displaying an event that lasts for multiple days, I would like to see it running accross the days rather than repeating it for each day. Not sure if that can be done outside Lightning, but I would really hope so. Thanks!

A GREAT addition to the calendar view!

One question - is it possible to transfer the category colours set on one PC to another?

One wish - It would be great if you could tweak the "today" pane colour - the default is a little too subtle!

I just installed this add-on and it looks like a big improvement. Would be even better if you could choose the colors you want for the «Today date» and the «selected Day». Another improvement would be to write the name of the month in all squares (in month view), not only on the 1st and last day. Thanks for a great add-on.
