I find that this lightweight firewall has been one of the best and reliable in its class. I have been using Firefox as a preferred browser for years now and this add on basically is one of the first utilities that I download for use on a new workstation or mobile device. It is excellent for long term use as well as when I want to limit my exposure to threats in a pinch as well. Overall of the tools I love and trust, and would highly recommend.

it destroys all evilo... ya it can be a bit picky but always for your protection... ive had it block a dl link on one page but the same app was able to dl off er page so it wasnt e app so much the source. Bluhell is de bomb

Great addon. Was free of side-effects for years.
Now it seems to block s2.youtube.com, or other URL relevant to statistic.
For me YouTube history is much more a feature than information leak.
I love to form my feed on resource, from my history of views.
Now BluHell blocks this resource history tracking.

P.S. BlueHell is really faster than any AdBlocker I'we seen.

Excellent blocker, but there's no menu entry in either the stable or Beta versions so it's not possible to whitelist.
Esta valoración es de una versión anterior del complemento (2.6.1).That's right, Bluhell is meant to be fast & lightweight blocker, and as such it doesn't provides additional options which would make it work slower.
Btw, there are no "beta" versions of Bluhell, be careful installing versions outside of AMO. If there is such a version out there i will appreciate if you point it to me so that i can download and analyze what it does to warn other users.

Excellent add-on, really does a great job. Removes not just nearly all ads but also many of the irritating "you use an adblocker" popups and most EU-regulation cookie warnings. Does all this out-of-the-box with no fuss at all.
After installing this on my Android phone (replacing uBlock Origin) I now began using it in my desktop Firefox too. Here it combines very well with RIP (Remove It Permanently) which can quickly and easily deal with any leftover web page clutter.

I've been looking for something like this, and after reading the reviews I decided to give this add-on a try. Once installed I tested it on some websites/links I know, that love to re-direct to a less than trusting site. I'm happy to report It worked like a charm. Thanks to this add-on I can now browse/research/click w/o worry. Thank you.

It's a shame because this method is really so much more efficient than simple blacklisting. I have been using Bluhell for a long time but I am now stuck with v2.5.3 because newer versions are not compatible with Pale Moon (a faster Firefox clone). I understand it is easy to solve this if the developer wants to, as explained on Pale Moon's website.

Im Prinzip funktioniert es super, ich hätte nur gerne die Möglichkeit, Ausnahmen zu definieren, daher nur 4 Sterne!
