I have one computer with TB18 where the Calendar works OK, and unfortunately the other one is TB19 where calendar is inoperative. I will not go back to updating in the beta channel until they get this resolved. I have calendar become inoperative many times when the version was updated, but this has been almost a week. What is the matter with the people at Mozilla, don't they realize the people actually depend on these applications. Almost anything else could be inoperative and there would be a work around, but one of the reasons that I have stuck with Thunderbird is for the calendar.

Be careful with this application, since the presets caused all of listings to disappear and instead put a small symbol where the information was. I have disabled everything and now I am back to normal. I want to see all my events shown in color on the calendar page, and this application disabled being able to do this. Not sure how I ever got this installed, but you never think that an app can do something like this.

When you install a new version of Lightening, Thunderbird says that you have to restart the application. Normally lately you have to completely restart the computer to have the application function correctly. This has been a requirement for the past few update versions (07/30/2012). After you complete the new installation your can just wait and after you actually restart the computer it will work OK. If you restart Thunderbird only, the calender will not work correctly. Just be aware of this inconsistency, since formerly it would be OK after a restart of just the program itself.
