When you reply to a mail sent to your personalized address (postfix/qmail/gmail extensions) such as john.doe+contactname@example.com, "From:" is replaced by your personalized address rather than your simple address.
Antidote connector
Use Antidote directly where you are writing! Run a text through the corrector and the changes you make will automatically be applied to the original text in Thunderbird. (You must have access to Antidote.)
