Sorry for the non-review, but there is no email or way to file a bug here or on the mozdev site (this project isn't listed). Has anyone figured a way to make this work with KDE4?

Works perfectly on ubuntu intrepid

Neat plugin. Integrates better with my desktop if I replace the tiny new mail icon by the scalable SVG from xfce4's mailwatcher plugin.

The source was easily modified to do so. Thumbs up!

works fine under xfce4. a shame that the tray functionality is generically integrated.

Unfortunately it is not working at all under KDE4. :( Behaves exactly like if I have not installed it, which is nothing anywhere. :( I'll stick with kmail until this is fixed.

Is there any possibility to use the addon with FreeBSD? We need it :(

Great application, works exactly as stated. Minimizes and opens up no problem, clears a space from the bottom panel in ubuntu so more room for firefox windows ;).

It would be better if thunder bird start minimized to system tray icon initially. When closing TB window by pressing X it should minimize to tray, not closing the application.
Other than that, this plugin is the best thing I could find for linux.

It's just what I was looking for!

Goodbye Evolution. Thunderbird + this addon fill all my email app needs.

Works great for me, uses the correct icon, and in this version you can restart after adding a new addon without any trouble. (Previous versions would hang, and trying to restart would make Thunderbird unusable and stuck in the tray.)

Worked fine for me. If you install from the mozdev site, there is no xpi for version 1.2.4 currently, but you can get it from http://downloads.mozdev.org/moztraybiff/mozTrayBiff-1.2.4-tb2.0.0.16-rev2.xpi
