Please update this Add-on so it works on TB 60 and above.

Hello, earlier I had installed Stationary and I made some papers. One of them had a blue background, but also when I was writing some emails especially in resond modus this blue background was shown. So I deinstalled thes addon but the blue background is still alive. What can I do to stop this blue background?

I'm using the TT Deepdark theme and when I installed this extension I lost my Reply-all button. Uninstalling this brought the button back. That said, this extension seemed to do what it was intended and I was using it to load a pre-built html file as a template for an email, which it did very nicely. Using Thunderbird 52.6

Hello,
First of all, I'd like to congratulate for this very useful addon.
However, lately I have noticed a trouble that happens only for a particular sender.
I've been looking for similar problem on forums, but I never found.
- My problem :
Reply does not use the template it should, it uses none, though Create and Forward work well.
These senders have an automated disclaimer added by their mail server whether in HTML format or in TXT. When I reply to a TXT disclaimer mail it works. It does not when HTML.
It used to work well. It happens on Thunderbird for MacOSX and for Ubuntu.
- My config :
Ubuntu 16.04.4, Thunderbird 52.6 (64bits), Stationery 0.9.0.2.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
For some unknown reasons, option and stationery button don't show anything when entered. DO you have any ideas?
Thank you.
TB 56.0b6 (32 bits)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.0.2).

It is fallout of this change in Firefox code: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1383215

Many extension will have to be fixed, but more importantly the TB itself have to be updated.

For now I recommend to go back to last released TB version.

This program has stopped running in version 52 and I am unable to update or get any support for this. Wasting my time!

For unknown reasons, this othwerwise nice and neat plugin has stopped working in Thunderbird 45.8.

// UPDATED 25 August 2017: Thank your for your advice! Alternatively, one can update to the newest version of Thunderbird, which I did, and it seems then to work flawlessly again! Awesome! Thanks!

Full five stars rating is for all the efforts by the developer spent into this unique and highly customisable plugin! Awesome! Thanks on behalf of us all who could not live without this plugin!

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.0.2).

New version will not work in TB 45, too much changes between versions. Too bad I did not checked it.
Now I updated version information, so TB 45 users will no longer update to Stationery version 0.9.

Sorry for the problem.

Solution for You: uninstall current version of the Stationery, then install older one from https://addons.mozilla.org/developers/addon/stationery/versions. Just download the XPI file, then drag'n'drop it on the Thunderbird window.

HINT/Trick Pictures With TB 52.1.1 you should use Data_Uri (inbound base64) to load pictures as external content is blocked and unblocking is anyoing. Use
<img alt="mylogo" title="mylogo" src="data:image/png;filename=gleis9_logo.png;base64,iVBORw0KGgo...." border="0"> instead of <img "file=///...">
read more on DATA_URI (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_URI_scheme)
You can create this getting into the HTML signature from a sent message or draft and copy and pasting it to the source.
You can use the "allow html temp" Addon or view the source of a sent message (I guess thats ctrl+u).

What would be the reason for this? I'm trying to send an html template with web fonts, which are linked to inside the head tags. But the links always gets deleted. In fact, everything that's inside the head tags is removed.

Thanks for the add-on and all the work you're putting into it. This is really the only issue I have with it.

Hello,

the plugin is great but I did discover that when changing the html template (even without editing) it puts code fragments in mail which is send out! The most terrible with this is that you do not see this in the mail you write only when receive. So if I set a template, change it and send the mail to my self I have following code fragemnts in the top of the mail displayed:

<head> <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <o:OfficeDocumentSettings> <o:AllowPNG/> <o:PixelsPerInch>96</o:PixelsPerInch> </o:OfficeDocumentSettings> </xml><![endif]--> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">

But when start with no / empty template and then choose one, edit it and send it is not. Ony if I change it, even with template from same email account...

Can you please help?

This works great. It needs to be set to look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery. If you want to add stationery, you may need to manually place them here. Some of the older Outlook Express stationery may not work.

When I upgrade to the latest version of TB I have a problem - When I submit a template HTML (plug Stationery) link the recipient is displayed incorrectly, it gets the standard blue color and underlining.

Now in more detail: when sending from an older version (version portable Thunderbird 24.0 without updating) It turns out all right, as it should be - http://i.imgur.com/i5HwN96.jpg At the same time looking email-box through http-interface in Firebug get - http://i.imgur.com/kgpaMgG.jpg

but when you send out an updated version (portable version of Thunderbird, an update to the latest 38.2) It turns out - http://i.imgur.com/5D7kvxH.jpg Firebug's looks - http://i.imgur.com/NoOdIcQ.jpg

it "pulls" the text of link and makes new link, but styling link remains without content.

Can someone tell me how to solve this trouble? Maybe some kind of default option in the "Editor settings" changed?

Thanks in advance for adequate answers.

Send me this template, to arivald@interia.pl.
I will look at it, I will try to fix the problem.

For some reason, it's not using my html stationery files. It's worked great forever, but not since the last Thunderbird update. Had anyone else reported this?
