i would really like to see an export feature of all the session, in xml format, or firefox bookmark format.
That way, if woud be easier to choose a link from many, without opening (and waiting for) all.
Anyway, very good and useful extension !

Greate add-on. The save and auto-save "save" me hours on open and re-opened old and forgetable tabs.

This is EXACTLY what I needed and missed all this long. All the features work better than expected, really a very satisfying experience. This is my favorite add-on, many thanks and keep up the awesome work.

One of the best add-ons ever.
I always think it is impossible to improve it and yet, at every update, I get surprised by new features and improvements.
Couldn't do without and excellent also to work on different projects with their own set of tabs.
AAA!

This extension is extremely useful and very well-written. The author is constantly updating and refining it.
One feature request for Windows: the ability to save a session as a shortcut (to the Desktop or wherever).
Thanks again for making this terrific extension available!

Session Manager used to restore my sessions when firefox or my computer crashed. But now it's not restoring crashed sessions - only the last good session when firefox was last closed properly. Any ideas what's going on? Am I missing a setting somewhere?
thanks,
alex

This is simply the best extension. Can't live without it. And, it's updated often. So many other extensions simply aren't maintained.
I can't believe I saw someone post a complaint that this is updated too often. WTF? Are you nuts... this developer is working TOO HARD for you and you had to CLICK THE MOUSE. Wow. Then uninstall it, and please don't annoy him.
The rest of us want the frequent updates!

All in all this is one of the best Firefox add-ons available. It's very well developed and supported and provides functionality that a web browser should be shipped with by default (built-in!).
@ Developer: Listen mate, your application is great and very useful, but is there any chance you would stop with the ridiculous minor updates every bloody day? I have 3 machines and several users on them using Firefox and your add-on, and I would really hate to have to stop using it just because it irritates the hell out of me when i confirm an update from version X.x.x.x.x.x.x.x to X.x.x.x.x.x.x.x+1 (x's added for emphasis) for the n-th time in a day every other day.
Thanks by the way, and keep up the great work (just hold on to it for at least a week or two before you share it with us, pretty please ;)).
Sorry for the rant, but I guess I'm more used to how Microsoft operates with their updates :-D.

Wow, Morac, you've simply gone over the top. This guy(gal?) is constantly updating this fantastic little tool. None of my other extensions gets updated more often (fireftp is a close second).
BUT NOW the itemized restore feature, YES!!
It may seem simple, but it's a real memory and bandwidth saver to only restore the tabs you need.
Excellent work!

Awesome extension! It should be integrated natively with Firefox

To give the choice of selecting the tabs I want to recover is an excellent idea. Six stars for you!

Firefox's built in "When Firefox starts.. load my windows and tabs from last time" option is rather lame, as it assumes users will *always* want to start up with the same behaviour.
A Firefox developer posting on Mozillazine once told me that (an option) to have per-session chance to restore tabs and/or windows would be "an incredibly annoying, invasive, stupid design decision" and that as such they "most definitely" would NOT be implementing such a thing.
Looking at the # of downloads of this extension (currently 1,297,440), I'd say a heck of a lot of people disagree.
Session Manager has always been great to have, but since v0.6.3 it's now even better as you can choose which tabs to open, or not open (which is great if one tab is crashing the browsing). Thanks!

Thanks you for a great Firefox extension, and more importantly, a great Firefox Session Manager.
One thing that I would find very useful is if you could backup your settings to a file like Tab Mix Plus has (for example).
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
