On Thunderbird 68.1.2 for Windows 10, after adding Manually Sort Folders, Option box not there, only Disable and Remove. Also cannot find any entry in Tools menu.

In Thunderbird 68.1.2 (64 bit) the version 2.0.2 works fine regarding the folder sorting.-

Unfortunately is does NOT work when I select a specific folder to be opened upon startup of Thunderbird. Thunderbird always opens the last opened folder irrespective of what I have selected in the settings ...

Please fix that. Otherwise it is worth only 50%.

Hi,
Was excellent.
Unfortunately, the new update 2.0.2 doesn't work at the best with Thunderbird 68.1.1(32 bits / Win10). In particular I can't put anymore the Local Folders in first....
Too bad.

I find this a great AddOn.
I am using Thunderbird 68.1.1 64-bit on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit version 1903.
Sorting the account works, but the "Local Folder" always remains last,
I want it at the first position.
Thanks

I need this AddOn - great work!

Please look for a bug.

In TB 68.1.1 your AddOn don't remember the manually configured start folder (in my case the inbox).
Always start TB with the latest opened.

I am on Linux Mint Cinnamon.
Latest (manually-sort-folders-201909230926.xpi) from your source.

Thanks!!!

It's a lifesaver - but it won't work on Thunderbird 68! Please, please, please update it so I can regain this really useful functionality.

amazing that thunderbird, as complete as it is, doesn't provide this functionality out of the box ...

been using this for years but today, my email account list is blank. I am using V1.2.1 of the add on with v60.8.0 32bit Thunderbird. I removed the addon, restarted and readded it with no luck. I have removed it, restarted T-bird and added v1.2.0 with no luck. I have deleted it and restarted and added v1.2.1 back and restarted t-bird, no luck. I have about 8 email accounts and keeping them organized is essential. Is this just a version incompatability or does anyone know of a fix.

Never mind, I followed the instructions in the review: by dustypenguin13 on July 30, 2019 and it solved the problem.

If this extension is not working, you need to do this:

**BINGO**

by Firefox user 0bef68 on Feb. 27, 2019 · permalink

There are numerous comments that the extension doesn't work with the latest version of Thunderbird. However, this fixes it:

Go to Thunderbird>>Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>General>>Config Editor

Scroll down to extensions.tbsortfolders@xulforum.org.accounts

Right-click and select Reset

Repeat for extensions.tbsortfolders@xulforum.org.defaultaccount

Restart Thunderbird

I'm sorry, but the add on doesn't work. I have 5 e-mail accounts and not a single one is displayed in the sort preview. But the idea is good. I would like a tool that actually has the features described!
