Great add-on, hope we'll get an updated version soon.
Saved sessions are usually stored in
C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*profile*\sessions\

It was the most useful shortcut in an experience as a nontechnical user of the Internet since the 1970s. I was expecting to use it for a meeting with a contractor day after tomorrow do not have time to bring assembled links back by memory and spotty paper notes.. BRING IT BACK PLEASE!

Really hoping that the new Firefox gets an add-on to replace this one. This is literally the reason I use Firefox.

This extension has saved my beloved tabs (~200, Tab Groups *was* another great add-on...) more than once during FF crashes and updates. I really hope it gets updated to 57+ (yeah, it happened to me today too - just blank FF after update, thank you Firefox team, that's one of the worst ways to do upgrades).
I've wrote a small Python script for myself to at least extract the URL data from Session Manager files (and optionally open them in the browser right away) - feel free to use it to alleviate your pain, it's open-sourced at https://github.com/alex-ter/ff-sm-tab-extractor.

This add on was great but now with the new FF, I'm out all my saved sessions. I think the sessions are still saved but the add-on is no longer compatible. Tried another session saver but it opens all the tabs in all windows for no reason. This situation is very disappointing.

just checked in afer all these weeks to find out if session manager has found an ear with the "wise men" at the top. guess not!
back to opera/chrome.
still have to wonder what scale of a fall the user share of mozza has taken. shrunken quite a bit i epec.

uses your old profile, bam: sessions are back.
UPDATE/ STILL UNAVAILABLE?? great. good job mozilla. noscript and session manager are not exactly poweruser tools, they're essential. POLITICS??

This extention was perfect for users which likes to keep lots of tabs opened for later use/read.
Moslty I'm missing restore tab button, when I accidentally close same tab.
I hope soon will someone port this to new FF webextention api.

On one of my profiles I regularly have sessions that take up 60+ tabs, each for different purposes. Session Manager was incredibly useful for this, but now that Mozilla decided to unilaterally switch to WebExtensions without making sure that the most popular extensions actually worked, all of these sessions are gone now. Please fix whatever is preventing Session Manager from being ported to WebExtensions so that this can work again!!!

i'm using "Mysessions" to import saved sessions. This add-on is an inadequate alternative to "S M", but it works.

Please update this to be compatible with Firefox Quantum - I still have some tabs there. If not, please tell me how I can find the tabs in the extension.
Install a Firefox fork, and use the session folder in the Firefox profile you have

If I have truly lost access to the hundreds of sessions I have saved over the years, then it's goodbye firefox. It's the only reason I hung around this long and if I had known, I never would have upgraded. I even tried downgrading again but it's not working. I am devastated.

Please update this add-on. It's not compatible with recent version of FF. I can't use my saved previous session. It's the only extention that works.

I am in the same boat as others. I use this extension daily, and it has been my primary reason for using Firefox. Its great that Mozilla is keeping firefox updated, but breaking this extension is a deal breaker for me. I reverted back and will wait or have to switch to another browser that supports session managing.
