Please update this add-one I am using it every day but it is not working now after Firefox 57 update. Please Update.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (5.10).Unfortunately, WebExtensions (the new API for Firefox 57+) does not have the functionality for the correct operation of this addon in Firefox.
But you can install Firefox 52 ESR and enjoy work until June 2018

This is an amazing add-on, damn near necessary for me.
The only issue with it, is that the Ctrl + Right click to show the hidden items doesnt work with the Main Context Menu, even though it works with the context menu for tabs, and nearly everywhere else.
I've tested this add-on on Firefox 52.4.0 ESR, 54, and 56, and they all have the same issue.
Tested with both clean brand new profiles, and my own old profile.

this addon was great, but now i have found a simple workaround to the webextension's madly story by mozilla.
the solution is in a css file named userChrome.
hiding menu voices is so simple, nothing is needed as addons or webextensions, and also the menu popup is returned fastest as when was original.

Thank you for all of your hard work on this add-on. It's a shame that Mozilla has decided to hasten the death of Firefox by making a once great customizable browser to a dumbed down clone of Google Chrome

This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox.
(57.0b3 x64)
Unfortunately, WebExtensions (the new API for Firefox 57+) does not have the functionality for the correct operation of this addon in Firefox.
So this addon will no longer work with the release of Firefox 57 in November 2017!
This is the inevitable change in Firefox - all Xul-addons will die out in Firefox 57

Works great. Saves me lots of wasted time and frustration. A GUI should conform to me. Not the other way round.

Отличное дополнение. Отлично работает. Только, когда выйдет Mozilla Firefox 57 не хочется расстаться с этим дополнением.

The little umbrella in the lower right corner of my screen that when the cursor hovers over it, the weather details show, the umbrella that's always there is covering my Facebook Settings link access. I need to get to that, have to delete weather app. Sorry.

Title says it all. Context menu items that only show when links are selected, etc., cannot be repositioned because they don't show up in settings dialog. That was the main reason I added this extension. The ancient Menu Editor had no problem with this but the latest version does not allow rearrangement even though it DOES at least show the items that this new addon does not.

Very good addon to customize firefox menu but I can't seem to find a way to backup the menu layout setting.
follow up: thank you for reply. I thought it only saved the settings for menu wizard itself but after the reply i checked again and see it also backups the layout setting. Thanks 5 star!!

Maybe somebody can tell me why it doesn't work. For example, I change the keyboards shortcuts and nothing changes in the browser's behavior.

AFAIK it's the only way to fix the bloated default Firefox interface.
It's a shame, that Menu Wizard will probably die in a few months, with FF57 and the advent of WebExtensions...

##Warning## this addon is pure Malware!!!
The addon is clearly Adware, but also adds (3rd party) Toolbars for browser hijacking and key logging. This is was discovered when viewing an Ebay site, where a Toolbar shows, that hijacks searches to an alternate "shopping website", and logs (keylogs) data to this website.
This repressible action is alluded to in the programs cryptic notification of:
"Suggested ads - are small tips about up-to-the-minute rebates,
shown on the top of the page for certain shops you visit."
But this is not displayed, the above cryptic notification was only found buried in the addons code.
Also, apparently, unless you enable websites to store (malicious?) tracking data, this addon will continually display Adds, and add (advertising?) toolbars for Browser Hijacking and Key Logger. Thus the claim "Advertising is disabled by default" and "advertising displays once in a lifetime...." is completely FALSE
Well a very quick look at the addon code reveals:
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/js-static/13fdb1e5ae9a9b3a61.js">
This is a well known source for browser redirection, add injection, and 3rd party installs of malicious code.
See https://howtoremove.guide/remove-s3-amazonaws-virus/).
Also <script type="text/javascript" src="http://cdncash.net/addons/lnkr5.min.js">
Described as Malware, and removal instructions are http://www.sitealyzer.net/en/p/sb/remove-cdncash.com/
Also <script type="text/javascript" src="http://rules.similardeals.net/ ..
Stated as a malware virus, removal instructions at https://malwaretips.com/blogs/ads-by-similardeals-removal/
Another immediate amazing piece of code is:
AddonManager.getAddonByID('customization@adblockplus.org', function(addon)
{prefs.setBoolPref('present_CustomizationsAdblockPlus', false);
So this addon amazingly does something to (disable?) "Add Block Plus".
These malicious code segments were found with just a quick look, there is no doubt many more malicious acts buried in this addons code.
Version 5.07; Released March 29, 2017
3-d party JavaScript-advertising has been deleted from add-on.

Several times now (periodically, but not every single time) since installing this extension, I've started Firefox only to have an unwanted tab open urging me to donate money to the Menu Wizard developer. I opened the extension's options to see if I could stop this from happening, and saw "Advertising is disabled" at the bottom of the list of settings, but no option for turning this nagging nonsense on or off. Although this extension works as advertised, it also nags you to donate. For engaging in this behavior, I'm giving it a rating of 2.

This add-on was exactly what I had been looking for to make Firefox bearable on a Macbook. Unfortunately after a restart of Firefox, I was presented with two different ad-like popups encouraging me in very passive-aggressive wording to support the author in various ways. Instantly uninstalled, the author lost my trust within minutes.
