I was simply looking for a plug-in to count the number of mails in IMAP accounts. Mail Summaries exceeds this simple need by providing a real upgrade to the T-bird user experience making really good use of the account splash page. Looks like this could be the beginning of a series of useful pages for each account. Installing it on all my PCs Linux/Win7/Mac-OSX right away.

The Mail Summaries add-on is working perfectly. The bug with thread-pane columns was caused by uncompatibility bug from the CompactHeader add-on. That bug was fixed in today's CompactHeader update.
Thank you for your work!

I like it!
Tooltips, indicating the exact number and the date on the bars of the bar-chart, that shows the distribution of mails in the last month, would be nice..
The chart could be longer, too; like half a year..

Been awhile since I seen a truly original and useful add on for TB.
With 20 accounts in the network to monitor, this is real time saver to get an overview.
