My Reviews

Print pages to Pdf

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on. Works exactly as described. The really useful feature is that I can print _multiple_ web pages into a single PDF. I can't install software (like PDF Forge) on my work computer, so this is really handy to collect a bunch of pages into a single document.

Any chance of making a similar extension for Chrome? All the extensions in the Chrome web store just convert a single web page (the current web page) into PDF.

WikiSearch

There used to be a similar add-on that the developer stopped supporting (since FF4). I have really missed it.

When reading a web page, I often want to look up something in Wikipedia, _without_ interrupting the flow of what I'm currently reading, i.e., I want the look-up to happen in the _background_, so I can read the wp article at a later stage.

There are a number of add-ons that look up Wikipedia, but none of them (as far as I know) do it in a background tab. All the others I have tried interrupt (visually) the page you are currently reading.

Thanks for this. Hope you keep it updated to be compatible with future releases of Firefox.

British English Dictionary

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I like this add-on since it does spell-check using English (as opposed to American). Unfortunately, it is not comprehensive, and is missing some basic words. I've been irritated by this a few times, but when it squiggly-underlined "movie" and "movies", that really annoyed me. Really? You reckon "movie" is not an English word?

MinimizeToTray

Looks like this add-on is going nowhere. Instead of mucking about trying to hack the XPI file, you might has well just use BossKey, which works well.
