I didn't know that I was dependent on this add on this much. I've came to realize that I do, after the last Firefox update because it's not working anymore.

Please fix it. TestPilot and Rasha, you guys were really helping people learn.

Everything has been awesome with WikiLook until today, when my Firefox auto-updated itself to version 20.0.1, and now I can't get it to work anymore :(

However, I give this add-on 5 stars out of hoping it is just a sort of compatibility issue that can hopefully be solved soon.

For a few days now this plugin hasn't worked on more than one PC and no update yet. Please fix. Thanks!

Muy útil! Definiciones al instante sin cambiar de pestaña! Muy buena la opción de seleccionar la palabra y mover a penas el mouse para buscar la definición en Wikitionary. Se echa de menos el menú de configuración en español y otros idiomas.

Very useful! Definitions instantly without switching tabs! Very good the option to select the word and barely move the mouse to find the definition in Wikitionary. It misses the setup menu in Spanish and other languages.

Very stable extension. I find myself following links I otherwise might not notice. I don't think it's fair to criticize WikiLook because a handful of intervening add-ons don't produce copies of pages that prompt it. It's one of my favorites.

Very useful add-on, works great. With normal zoom it's OK, but using it with "default full zoom level"(Increased zoom level for big screen) the popup appear away from the word I'm looking for, sometimes hidden at the right side of the page.

Excellent add-on; regrettably doesn't work with Ffox 20+.

I love this Add-on, it's near perfect. Even if you only occasionally use Wikipedia this will come in handy everywhere you go.

This works perfectly so far. Pity it doesn't show up in the 'relevant' order of search for 'dictionary' but I found it through 'highest rated' ordering. Thankyou creators. Just what I needed to solve all my lookup problems on Firefox!

WikiLook was created with sole purpose of promoting Wiktionary, a MUCH better dictionary them M-W or American Heritage. Wikipedia was added to gain some extra popularity and to compete with Answers add-on, again with a purpose of raising general public awareness of Wiktionary existence. Supporting any other dictionaries or non free encyclopedias definitely out of scope of the project. But source code is available and nothing prevents forks from popping up.

This is how to get it to work with HTTPS everywhere:
1. download the .xpi (wikilook@testpilot.xpi) and close Firefox.
2. Open and extract the .xpi with 7zip (an xpi is just a collection of files)
3. navigate to the extracted directory: \wikilook@testpilot\chrome\wikilook\content\
4. Open all the .css, .js, and .xul files in notepad++
5. in notepad++ hit ctrl+h to open the find&replace dialog box
6. enter in Find: http://en.wiktionary.org/
7. and replace:https://en.wiktionary.org/
8. click "replace all in all open documents"
9. close and save all files
10. repackage all files into the xpi (open the original .xpi with 7zip, and drag all folders and files onto the 7zip winodow
11. close 7zip and restart firefox
this should work, it did on mine

I found this add-on to be very useful until I decided to use the HTTPS Everywhere add-on.
It renders WikiLook un-operable.
HTTPS Everywhere has a link for modifying the rule sets it uses which I think might be used to get WikiLook working again.
But this is Greek to me.
Here is the link for anyone who can understand these things.
