Track Package

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've forked a new version mainly target at Pale Moon with support for older versions of Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey, available at realityripple.com/Software/Mozilla-Extensions/Track-Package/ because this extension has always been so useful.

Show All Body Parts

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This extension should be part of Thunderbird. Great for strange proprietary E-Mails, "txt" attachments, and bunch of other contents... It'd be nicer if it changed based on the sender.

Bookmark Duplicate Detector Master

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

The interface for removing the bookmarks could be a little less in height, but it was simplistic and easy to use. A little strange that Firefox 1.0-2.0 got more options and features than 3.0/3.5. It does help weed out duplicates, regardless, which is apparently all you wanted this to do!

Deepthought

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

The Preferences interface could use quite a bit of work, and some testing on multiple platforms. The actual extension should probably check the current URL before showing itself, or a user will get some strange results by clicking on the context menu item on non-search pages. Give it a bit more work, and you'll have a good extension.

Update Notifier

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Lots of features in this little notifier, and no problems in sight. The ability to control how often updates are checked for is pretty nifty, being able to restart Firefox with the icon is even cooler, and automatic installation of updates just takes the cake.

Track Package

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you order online on a regular basis, you'll want Track Package. I tried to make an extension similar to this, but scrapped it when I found this one.

SmoothWheel

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Smooth scrolling is always nice. I don't use the the accelerators or other stuff, but simply scrolling smoothly with the default settings is all I needed.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.44.19.20090811.3).

Key Manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm amazed at how powerful this extension is. The UI's a little clunky, but the tools are anything but weak. If it involves cryptography, chances are Key Manager can do it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.3.20090714).

Image Zoom

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

If you want to see an image with more detail, this is your extension. There isn't often a very practical application for Image Zoom, but you never know when you'll want to see an image three times its normal size.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.1).

DOM Inspector

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you're going to make any Firefox add-ons, you're going to need this. That's all there is to it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.3).

Console²

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you're making a website or an Add-on, you're going to need this extension. The detailed selections on what errors pop up, the grouping of errors, the domain blocker, and the search are all regularly used in any web development project. I don't know what add-ons would be like if the developers didn't have this tool at their disposal. I know it's helped my add-ons as much as the DOM Inspector, if not more.

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This little extension for Adblock Plus is relatively useful if you want to find a transparent IFrame or some other container that's messing with a webpage's layout after you've already removed an ad. It's also pretty good if you can't right click on an object for one reason or another.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.6).

FireFTP

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've been using FireFTP for years, and the only problems I've ever had are caused by my own connection speed. I've recommended it to anyone who needs an FTP client. It's simple and fairly quick to understand, but also has wonderfully more complex features such as setting multiple upload connections, resuming errored/cancelled uploads and downloads, multiple accounts with individual root locations, and so much more! This is easily the best FTP client ever written.

Firesizer

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful for checking screen sizes in web development. Also gives you the size of the window, which can be useful for determining the exact minimum size a screen needs to be.

GoogleIt!

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Pretty useful extension. It searches with http://google.co.uk only apparently, which is sort of annoying. Maybe add an option to change the locale to use in a future version? Also, the URL/URI thing doesn't seem to work right...
