Duplicate This Tab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Still works fine, will not install on FF43 due to signing requirement. Easier icon fix from what I reviewed ages ago:

Download extension to desktop
Open in a suitable programme
Go to folder "\chrome\duplicatethistab.jar\skin\icons\" within archive
Extract icon-large.jpg file to desktop
Rename as icon.png
Place this file into root folder of archive (the one that's got install.rdf file in it)
Install to Firefox.
Should now have an icon under add-ons menu

Classic TB2

For what its worth you can get this extension working in Tb15 by performing a max version hack on the install.rdf file contained withing the .xpi file
Look for the line <em:maxVersion>

To get the blue background in mail toolbar with this theme installed / enabled, try the following.

This snipped of code seems to be working for me in TB8, close thunderbird & paste the following into your userChrome.css file

toolbox {background: #d3daed !important;}

save the file & re-launch thunderbird

Classic Reloaded

In Thunderbird 8, with all the message header buttons removed & this theme installed, the "from" part of message header has shunted out of alignment & gone further to right.

This happens with a clean profile, without this theme installed the alignment is restored to normal.

See http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/851/tb8header.jpg/
for image as effected.

Apart from that, nice to see the colored icons back in Thunderbird where they belong. This is the same effect as the Classic TB2 theme which also miss aligns the from part.

Also is there a version with the star rather than the flag. Currently have version 1.5.2 of this theme installed. Is there a css entry that can restore this? if no version available.

Duplicate This Tab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

In addition to what I typed below, to get an icon to show up in firefox 4 & 5

Once extension downloaded to desktop, open .xpi file
Go to folder “chrome\duplicatethistab.jar\skin\modern\duplicatethistab\”
Extract file labelled "tab-drag-duplicate-indicator.png"
Edit in a suitable programme that can resize by pixels
Resize image to 48x48 pixel, & save as Icon.png
Resize ORIGINAL file to 64x64, & save as Icon64.png
Merge back into .xpi file & drag into firefox to install

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

If you get problems with short cut combinations e.g. web console under firefox 4 using CTRL+SHIFT+K.
Try installing KeyConfig extension from http://mozilla.dorando.at/
Once installed, bring up the Keyconfig options & set "abort element selection" to your preferred combination, locate combination duplicate from list & re-assign or remove.

If you get an add-on that comes up as disabled you can TRY modifying the <em:maxVersion> number in the install.rdf file for this extension

How:
Download the extension to your desktop
open the .xpi file in an archive prog e.g. 7-Zip (associate the file type with prog if needed)
Open install.rdf file in notepad or similar, search file for <!-- firefox -->
Just below there is an entry labelled <em:maxVersion>
Change the number that follows for example <em:maxVersion>5.0.*</em:maxVersion>
Save file & update archive, drag into firefox to install.

Duplicate This Tab

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

For Duplicate this tab:
One thing that's missing from this port over is an icon for the add-ons screen (even a default icon of a jigsaw piece)

By removing the following line from the install.rdf the default icon shows up under 3.6
<em:iconURL>chrome://duplicatethistab/skin/icons/duplicatethistab-icon-small.jpg</em:iconURL>
Note Firefox 4.0b10 still has no icon shown. The file referenced above does exist at the above location though.

Duplicate This Tab

From Duplicate tab there is a jigsaw piece that shows up in duplicate tab extension under Firefox 3.6. If you install duplicate tab extension into Firefox 4 beta 10 at time of typing this (needs a max version hack to get it to install), the jigsaw piece shows up.Contd.

Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Can any1 tell me what happened with the ctrl+shift+k hotkey? o.O
Answer: Its assigned to web console under Firefox 4 beta 7(see tools menu), still works under Firefox 3 though

FYI when using Firefox 4 beta 7
With the combination of No script (v2.0.8.1) & add-block element hiding helper (v1.1) the CTRL+SHIFT+S combination brings up the no script allow / block right click menu & not the element hiding helper (no key combo modified by me)

Therefore CTRL+SHIFT+K wont work & neither does CTRL+SHIFT+S

Also why the name change to Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus. Rather than leaving it as Adblock Plus Element Hiding Helper as in previous versions as it now sits further down the installed extensions list
