I'm sorry to see that this add-on is receiving 3-star and 4-star ratings because it can't perform every imaginable image-related task, and also make the tea. I find it absolutely brilliant. When used in combination with the Linky add-on ("Open Selected Links in tabs") it saves me vast amounts of time in downloading images from multiple tabs. A million thanks to the developer.

it is useful but it would be much convenient for me if there was an option to download the selected image only

This seems to be doing some weird stuff in www.lazygirls.info. The first image will download then the rest are renamed (if rename is turned on) otherwise it pops up an overwrite dialog.

Good job...
Yet Icon needs to be worked on somewhat because it looks too complex to distinguish...
As a Major Flaw; Many like me use 'Save Images' to download galleries where most galleries contain LINKED images. Yet there's NO DIRECT WAY top save Linked Images within your add-on whatsoever...
You can only form a page of linked images then save them all together yet this breaks directory structure options within the add-on...
Please rectify this in future releases...
Thank you...

Great offering. A couple of improvements to make though.
1. My netbook is only 600px tall, the Ok and Cancel buttons are cut off on the bottom.
2. A checkbox to save only one image from each tab (the largest) would be prime.
3. Unless I set the filename to manual sequence, all my images get dumped in one great uncoordinated heap. And even if I do, multiple file types (image32.jpg | image33.png | image33.jpg | image33.gif | image34.jpg) make it so they still get a bit jumbled through your naming system. Having them saved in the same order as the tabs were in would be a BIG boon. I view my files categorized by 'date modified' in explorer.

ff3.6.3: when ff scales images, their file size and dimensions aren't determined by your addon, though the images are already in the browser cache. The feature 'size limits' then skips the images on 'save' and ignores the options' settings. Maybe sizes and dimensions might be gathered using a different method...

I have recently switched to Chrome because of FF memory leak issues. Can someone please port this amazing extension to Chrome?

This is one of the extensions I really cannot live without. It makes saving images from galleries a million times easier. I'm certain I could find something to nit-pick if I tried, but why? XD

before today l loved this addon, all l did was mess with the settings (just edited the file size settings as l was getting annoyed with the fact it was saving 1px images even tho it was set not to) and now nothing saves.. l likely got the above error then nada.

There is a bug.
Many times it slides in a box in the lower right saying : NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND
As seen on this screenshot : http://i39.tinypic.com/330cy1c.png
EDIT : And another error : NS_ERROR_FILE_NAME_TOO_LONG
Looks like this release was not tested at all...

This addon is completely unusuable. I can get to the preferences but there is no way to save or cancel out of them. The only button I see is to restore default settings.

i have problems with saving images from pic.leech.it
Tab is closed without image being saved. All other Servers work fine. I love your tool!
I saved a couple of images from pic.leech.it with no problems. Send me an email with screenshots of your settings and the actual web address you are trying to download from. plashcor@gmail.com

Re: "Use last download folder" option, it's not changing; it's the same folder every time I start Save Images, even though I've saved "something from Firefox" to a different folder. How do I clear this or make it to use the "the last folder that was used to save something from Firefox."
Thanks for a great add-on!

This is a great add-on, but it indeed misses an option to save often-used "background" images.

well i don't know why but i keep getting corrupted images and i've tried in different computers and it's always the same thing, other than that it works.
ps. i use it mostly for imageboards (futaba style).
