Have downloaded & installed it, but can't use it - can't find location of Extensions, Themes & Plugins to fill empty category boxes for extension list dumper. Site doesn't help. More trouble than it's worth.

Easy to create a list of your extensions along with descriptions and URLs. Makes it easier to reinstall Firefox.

I prefer InfoLister, since it allows you to save the list as an HTML file with all items as hyperlinks, which is very convenient when you want to share your list with someojne else, or simply keep a a very handy list when installing or reinstalling FF/TB from scratch.

Uses UNIX linebreaks when running on Windows. Nevertheless a very useful extension with clever options.

Excellent. Polished, everything to get your list as you want it. Particularly like the option to have a link back to the developers' sites. S0... how about adding links to Firefox add-ons site?

What I was looking for! Should be a basic function in FF to be able to export a addon list.

I like the idea for sending a list of your plugins for debugging purposes (or if you want to purge your profile and re-install everything), but there's a better way to back up your plugins / addons (also a good way to keep profiles on 2 pcs the same).
Just copy the "Firefox" folder from C:\Documents and Settings\*USER*\Application Data\Mozilla to another folder, inside is everything firefox uses when loading a profile, just copy the folder back if you ever need to restore your stuff.
note that you may want to compress the folder (mine is 120mb compressed to 23).

very good tool, recently I had firefox crash and I lost all my extensions, even I don't know the name of them. I hope this extension help me to make a list of them.

This is a very useful addon. The only issue I have is when I do the save as text file, it puts all the information into one continuous line.
The copy to clipboard and save as HTML work perfectly.
This addon is perfect for those who like to keep a record of their extensions.

Excellent add-on. Helpful in seeking assistance with issues with add-ons
However, the "Save as" feature saves the file as a generic file even when I ask it to save it as a text or html file
Version 1.13.1 adds the file extension if needed.

Has helped restore the wanted themes and extensions after a computer burp. Nice being able to print out the list. Can easily keep track of addons that have been added or deleted.

I wish I had installed it when I first installed Firefox; I think it should be included with Firefox.
The type of the extension list is very pale, like inactive objects in a dialog box, but that is likely due to some setting on my computer.
