This is a very good plugin. It changes the entire face of the compose window. however, I seem to have found 1 critical bug.
When i write something and leave a space at the end, users using outlook and MS exchange mailboxes, seem to pickup a space in html format,(  ). This is very annoying . I think this should be fixed .
This happens for new emails and also any email that I am replying to.
Feature request: Please add functionality to allow choosing fonts from all available fonts in the system

Hi,
Great add-on, it's a good beginning

A fantastic idea and certainly does what it says, but I would like:
1. The option to have the standard Thunderbird compose GUI.
2. Be able to add/remove buttons (cut, paste, spellcheck, find, font, etc).
3. Tooltips to explain each of the buttons.
4. A help file.
5. Make the GUI smaller so there is more space in the message body - I'd rather read what I'm typing than what I've entered in the to: cc: bcc: fields.

It is hard to believe but I registered just to say thanks.
I was in search of such plugin, only thing confusing me for using office or thunderbird was reasonably good office outlook editior..
Although this plugin has some issues with quicktext. I can't use it while editing emails but I am guessing that everything can be improved if once initiated. Thanks once again. (bow).
I am real/genuine guy some people might say I just comment here so I am with developer or something so you can google me with codevarun or varunbatraDOTcom (link removed intentionally but is currently direct you to other site sorry about it)

So far, so good. This has great potential. Normally its not so easy to compose a message in HTML but I like this add-on so far and I hope you keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing this work in progress. I look forward to trying updates.
Peace Out,
Bob

It seems it only supports top-posting when replying :(
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.1).Yes, as said in the description above, it's an experiment, and we sure don't implement many features :-).

Brilliant! It seems to get at a lot of the stuff which the normal TB Writer has omitted. True there are bugs, but I'd expect it from something this new.

Just opened a new mail, and....WOW!!!
5 stars for the idea and the initiative :)
Haven't tested it yet though (but will have some trouble at the office, as the Contacts addon does not connect to LDAP for the moment, as far as I know)
