I have used in the past, Aspell-en 0.50.2-3, which seemed to work just fine. I am ONLY giving this new one a try as it is a smaller plug in, or add on. So far, it works pretty well and even nixes cussing, but slang has to be added, but not 'ain't.'

Does not understand contractions which leaves you to wonder what else it's missing.

Why doesn't the spell checker understand contractions, like the word "doesn't" above? It flags the "doesn" as a misspelling! And I can't see how to add the whole word to the dictionary, so I'm left with leaving it to flag them, or adding the words "doesn" and other partial contractions, which leaves room for dropping the apostrophe and following letter.

For some reason, it clashes with other add-ons, just like the British English Dictionary. So I'd give it 4.5 stars :)

The more I use it, the more I see it mess up. It misses incorrect words and sometimes gives FAR off "suggestions"; especially when I hit the wrong 'key" (hitting the "R" instead of the "E" or "T" key) on one of the letters when typing.
Needs improvement.

AWESOME! There's a bit of a drag to get it going, sometimes a huge drag... none the less, it's better than all the misspelled words and typos I otherwise would have had on blogs & posts
