Very good addon, but last time I have been using it the addon had an issue and messed entries where special characters (above ASCII set) been used. For example one site I was using has been used password field named "hasło" and addon changed it to "hasBo". So this entry wasn't usable any longer.
Is this bug still in addon or has been fixed already?

Jest werkz..........and idk wtf you guy hittin' but just change the fn file ext. Save it as a text file (since it is) and give it the .csv ext. yourself. Htf do expect your OS too handle a file it's never processed. If you don't have the common sense to back up important info like...idk .....your fn bank passwords before you export them from one platform(web browser A) to a second(windows) then import to a third(web browser B) kys,,, Idk guess it's just me but I see password add-on (i'm leary) Then I see a warning from FF "are you sure you wanna do this" (I'm thinking sheeeiiiit) NAH, it's all good cuz I backed up/encrypted the .CSV file. ....but oh shit WTF is a .CSV file. If all that didn't make me stop and at least read user comments or Google for info then I'm full blown autistic retard

As the title says, NO F* way to import from CSV, completely useless, can import only its own format.

Great add but only works properly for me using XML option (Firefox 52.2.1 ESR on Windows XP SP3).
The following bug still hasn't been fixed: when exporting passwords to csv via the drop down menu, the file name extension remains xml.
Possibly related to the above "bug": I found when Importing csv passwords, many are rejected (i.e. not imported) with the error Username and/or Password Field Names are empty. XML passwords are imported without showing this error.
