I would really be happy for having the update pour Thunderbird 3.

MozPod sounds like a great tool, bu it gives a message that it doesn't work with the current release of FireFox

@Karen Hogan
do not click on menue, click on you ipod. There is the checkbox now

get addon... but one wish: could you also enable a filter? Now all contacts are sync... this is causing small chaos.
Hope for next version! Please rush :-)

It did work. Doesn't seem to work with iTunes 8.2

this add-on enables the direct sync of the thunderbird address book with ipod (nano), without conversion of the address book and import to outlook (urghh!). The installation is very quick. The sync is very quick too and all of the data are copied to the ipod ... really nice and very helpful tool!

Does not seem to work with iTunes v8. The referenced tabs in the Preferences window have been changed. Please update the instructions and/or the add-on.

Hi, thanks for this addon. It works fine on my new iPod 120gb. As already said, if an option to select which adress book/calendar was too be synced, then it would be perfect.
Thanks

hmm... guess it doesn't work with iphone 3g? just installed it and ... nothing.
too bad. this is the type of app that would bridge the gap currently exists for non mobileme or other mac based sync tools.. i use a PC and thunderbird

I downloaded mozpod and tried to follow the instructions for setup. but when I go to the preferences window, there is no ipod tab. I then looked for the "enable disk use" or "mount as drive" option in other tabs and could not find it.
So does mozpad work with an iphone or not?

I love it, I just wish there were a way to have a sync now button in the program. It's nice to be able to manually sync every once in a while instead of having to restart the program.
I do love it though, thanks for your work in creating it.

This is a nice add-on for Thunderbird and Lightning. It synchronizes all contacts and calendars. Would be very nice if you could select those contacts / calendars which you do not want to synchronize. Perhaps an advancement for the next version...!?!

The extension won't work on the iTouch since it is not capable of enabling disk use. For iPods that have the capability, it's a good application to have!

This is a great add-on. Synced with my iPod Nano and it synced my contacts and calendar. I'm using iTunes 7.6 an iPod Nano. took a bit of time to figure out how to set it up properly. Had to check the "Enable disk use" box in the Summary tab when iPod was connected. Also changed "Detection Interval" to 3 in the Options for mozPod. After those chages it all worked.

The ipod tab in the Preferances is not there so I dont know how to "Mount as drive".
I think this is a fantastic add-on but its not working for me.
