Wonderful utility, replaced my usage of tamperdata. Can you by chance make the columns sortable? OR make it so I can filter things by Type and other things.. say largest file size, etc.. Just thoughts that would make this fantastic utility amazing.

刚从FF3.0升级到3.5 很多插件都不兼容了 很抑郁
httpfox正好替代其中一个不能用的插件httpwatch

希望httpfox做的更好

Really cool add-on. Requests nicely formatted. But missing an essential feature, that of "SAVE".

Please add a SAVE feature so that one can save the entire request/response sequence including headers and later open it back using HTTP FOX again.

It is nice i have ever seen ...

Can you improve some that it should give a option so that it will give the alerts when we encounter any bad exception from the server.

it will help us to track the server responses.

A must have for every web developer. Very organized and you can analyse everything. For every http request/response, you'll see everything you need, from headers to contents! I personally recommend this one against LiveHttpHeaders. Though, I both have them installed. I always find HttpFox more useful.

A really nice tool. I have been a LiveHttpHeaders user for a long time but this extension really organizes the information much better. It gives you a nice overview of all HTTP requests being made and you can select one for closer inspection - headers, cookies, POST data, response text, whatever you like. Some issues, nothing major:

* Logging should really start automatically when the HttpFox panel is opened first time (issue 38)
* The value in Received column makes very little sense (issue 21)
* There is no keyboard shortcut to open HttpFox panel (issue 29)
* Response text comes from browser cache, this isn't the most reliable way of getting it (issue 6)

I would also very much like it if it could somehow display headers in Page Info dialog, that's the only reason I keep LiveHttpHeaders installed (I realize that LiveHttpHeaders has to watch requests in background constantly for that). But I must say, this extension is very good already.

Actually, what's most significant about this tool is how well it handles a history of requests and being able to see the request response pattern including redirects, etc. Souders implies that resetting all this history for every page is desired but it isn't. A developer needs to see the FULL history, including through multiple redirects. THIS IS THE TOOL. MAKE NO MISTAKE.

Firebug's Net Panel is a better choice than HttpFox. Net Panel includes additional features: a graphical chart, markers for DomContentLoaded on onload events, and automatically clearing when a new page is loaded. However, both Net Panel and HttpFox suffer from the same problem: they run in the same (single-threaded) process as Firefox itself, and thus the time measurements can be blocked when a web page contains long-running scripts. Here's an example ( http://stevesouders.com/cuzillion/?c0=bi1hfff1_0&c1=bb0hfff0_4&c2=bi1hfff1_0 ). This page contains two identical image requests that each take 1 second. In between the two image requests is an inline script block that takes 4 seconds to execute. Both Net Panel and HttpFox show that the first image request takes 4 seconds instead of 1 second. That is because the Firefox process is blocked from handling any events while the 4 second script executes, so the "http request done" event of the first image is missed.

This is an excellent aid to developing proxying applications. Want to know what those cookies, auths and forms are doing? Use this. I used to use Tamper Data but I struggled with it, this is much better. But *please* fix the options dialog - and add options for taking it off status bar / menu as per user pref - personally would like to reclaim some of my status bar.

No1 HTTP monitor. But it would be better if
- filter by site (e.g: localhost, google.com
- developers can use it to alter the request and the response.

Extensions like this are the reason why I'm not changing to any other browser soon. Nice, simple and easy to use interface that will return (when activated) the DL info every single Download Manager should/could provide.
Just a minor problem, when docked, conflicts with Firebug (doesn't save window position). Wishes: 1- filter by site,
2- filter by method (GET/POST),
3- save log into HDD (and reload it on demand).

Hope you keep improving it, since I discover it, I have been using it everyday. Besides the above issue, it's an excellent companion for Firebug.
